The feel of those guns is rivaled by only very few imo. But by far the Sidearm is on top for me. It's just perfect in every way. It's void, a sidearm, good recoil, ligtweight, niche perks that work perfectly for me and the sound and look are also just amazing. There is a reason the gun is only topped by my trinity ghoul (I used for farming back in the day, half a million kills on that) in terms of kills

I thought precision instrument didn't stack with lucky pants properly? I tested Word of Crota with lucky pants and edge transit and it seemed precision instrument took priority over the illegally modified holster buff.

It's a rotation DPS set up, hrs using Lucky pants as his swap. It's to get as little downtime as possible with your weapons while maximizing damage. LP only procs on full swapped to hc's and the percentage of the buff is much better than triple tap. You didn't want to use a primary in most cases for DPS. During the time the big is active is when you would want to use it. So you have damage compared to if it was a special weapon. Hope that clears it up

@@griqs But you're not giving up a damage perk to run triple tap, it's in the 3rd column. You can craft Triple Tap + Precision Instrument.

I crafted mine with Air Trigger for the extremely fast reload speeds. Also looks like Precision Instrument isn't enhanced, which would improve the damage a bit. The reason you don't need Triple Tap is that, for a 180 hand cannon, Lucky Pants only lasts about 17 shots, which you can get with just Backup Mag.

mountaintop does nearly as much as an area denial frame and is far more consistent for boss dps. Not to mention its superior sustained damage when ammo dumping. Spread the word.

​@@marcelettaI wouldn't be so sure it's not good for boss or tougher enemies, the way it's mechanics work with the dot effect has it already pretty strong. Ofc outright Mt or anything specializing in single target damage will perform well in it's niche. But it's still nice that an area denial can do this. Witherhoard being the basis for this makes it so
