LOST CITY IN THE MOUNTAINS! TERMESSOS - TURKEY

!!!!!! THE FIRST FULL HISTORY DOCUMENTARY about Termessos on KZread !!!!!!
Let's explore one of only two (!) cities in Asia Minor, which Alexander the Great and his army couldn’t conquer! Founded by ancient Greeks, the city of Termessos was so remote that even during the Roman Empire it was granted status of independent state. Step back in time with me and feel like a 19th century explorer of the lost city in the mountains. Untouched ruins, breathtaking views, pristine nature, and of course ancient history of Termessos (Hellenistic and Roman period).
Let’s get to know more about the history, beliefs, and architecture of this wonderful place!
Explored in November 2021.

Niches are found in great numbers in Phrygia...maybe they protected statues, maybe not. A stony hill wall with many Niches is found in Glukhite Kameni, Bulgaria. It s believed that these small Niches protected urns with ashes of children...a habit seen in Minoan Crete. Thracians are believed to be linked to Aegean Minoan civilisation and linked linguistically to Anatolia...to Phrygia at least.

If I understand you correctly, I totally agree with the definition of “Theater in Termessos” as “Machu Picchu in Turkey" When studying such an archeological monument, also must analyze the geometric pattern of the mountains associated with it. If the geometric expression of the Great mountain range and the nonverbal communication of the archaeological monument are compatible, the currently accepted written history will be collapsed.

Bravo for this video as well! Sarcophagi of same sizes and shapes are found in S.Thrace, European Turkey[Trakya]. Anatolian stone carvers were masters of excess stone removal as shown by the façades of Lycian tombs that have even beams carved in stone looking like wooden beams. The knowledge of removing huge stone quantities in creating one piece may go back to Göbekli Tepe, many thousands of years before the Lycian tombs were made...

Hamangia is located in Dobrudja(portion of Romania that opens to the Black Sea). The Cucuteni Culture of Romania produced Ceramics that were found in Troy levels 2 through 9. @@ancientsitesgirl Something very interesting>> the language of the Thracians was written and discovered on three stone tablets in 1994 on the island of Samothrace. The Mysteries of the Kabiri were taught on this island...Orpheus was teaching them before Troy[ 1329BC]. One of the tablets has a bilingual inscription on it, Greek & Thracian...a very long text of a treatise. Yet the linguistic deciphrement of Thracian( in the Greek alphabet) is very little...just a comparison to vowel frequency of Anatolian languages (not specified in the short report ). Orpheus was a Thracian the son of king Oeagrus of the Edoni tribe. Orpheus lived 1000 years before Plato, said Plato himself. Pythagoras took over most ideas of Orpheus...so said Syrianos the teacher of Proclus (writer of the Elements of Plato s Theology). Any way, the little progress of the study of Thracian is baffling because Hittite is indo-european and its grammar and vocabulary are known(but also an older language). The Myth of the birth of the gods or The Rhapsodic Theogony by Orpheus is similar to Hittite myths. Then it would be logical that the two languages should be somehow related....
