In a normal raid, that's not 100% true, if the other support has more uptime on the dmg buffs, and branding, even if your party is doing more dps, the one that will get the radiant support is the one that keep the buffs active the closest to 100%, because even when they are doing less dps, a big part of their dps is because of those buffs, if a support is not keeping the buffs active the closest to 100% uptime, then the dps that his party is doing is not going to the % in which is based the radiant support, if you're afk using only your branding, most dps will contribute with more dmg buffs than the support, so there is no way a support doing nothing will get mvp, not even radiant support. it's easier to get that with a Paladin tho, because all the party is getting the atk power buff, when both the Artist and the Bard need a team that stay on the aoe that give them atk buff. So what you said is partially true, but even when the mvp is based in some party parformance, the merit is for the support that could actually give those buffs, shields, heals and that also landed most of the counters.

Reason for holy area instead of holy sword? I see you bring it back later as well

If I feel like I dont need the stagger, I usually opt for holy area for more dr and meter generation vs if I need stagger I use Holy Sword + Executors

No wonder you got radiant, p2 had no support and two dead most of time, naturaly support contribution would spike up since p1 had the biggest dps slice hence supp contribution. You would have been radian even if light shock were the only skill you had used in the entire raid xD

It's a bus, I don't think the support category is based off of the other party though it's based on the dmg boosted for the party doesn't matter what the other party is doing. Had I only used light shock I don't even know if I would have gotten a supporter badge

@goraato4639 No, he would not be radiant supporter with only light shock because his raid damage contribution would not outweigh the damage the DPS contributed. I believe its 25% damage contribution to achieve Radiant. Also, @Haiguh I believe its based off of both parties. If your party has weaker dps, you will not achieve Radiant. I say this because in one of my static akkan raids, both paladin supports have pretty equal gear and same ilvl and their brand/atkpower/identity uptime are near identical 99%/90%/50% and the one to get Radiant is the party with the higher grp dps while the other gets noble.

@@Balyente 25% is for 4 man raids. For 8 man It's like half, I think it was 13-14% for radiant. Saying only light shock for radiant is a bit too much, but you're right in saying there's no wonder he gets radiant because in 8 man raids, if the other party has dead dps or way undergeared dps then you are gonna get radiant super easily because your party takes the biggest chunk of the dps pie. So yes, the other party influences the support mvp stats.
