One of the only bad lines in the show

Loved that reveal about, well, most of cabin fever. Why Richard was at Locke’s birth, and one of the items Richard put in front of John to guess which was his was the compass

Charles playing the long game by funding the research for Daniel and specifically hiring the non 'merc' freighter folk because he knew them from the fifties.

21:39 Miles is doing a bit of an echo of what Charlie said back in season 1 when Jack, Charlie and Kate were in the cockpit, they open the door, the body falls out. Jack and Kate ask each other if they are okay. Charlie goes "I'm fine. Charlie's fine, by the way. Okay? "

18:43 - "Put the gun down, Widmore." and 19:48 - "You're my life now. You and Charlie." That's pure reaction gold right there! (And about the subtitles coming up before the dialogue is spoken - I lived in Taiwan for a few years and I'd go to the theater to watch the latest Hollywood movies. The movies are in English with Chinese subtitles. But the subtitles would come up before the dialogue all the time so, if it was a comedy, everyone in the theater would be laughing before the joke was said out loud. And if it was a funny enough joke, the laughter would drown out the actual dialogue and I'd miss the damn joke!)

Just a bummer that they have the subs on, which gives it away before characters talk

"is he serious?" "Is HE SEriOuS?" "ohmygod he's serious, huh?" lmaooo

Remember a couple episodes ago, right after Daniel explains the street metaphor to explain time travel and how it's impossible to meet Desmond in the past, because he obviously never recognized them later on and then he goes off on his own to see Desmond, breaking his own rule, he tells Desmond that the rules don't apply to him because he's special, because of his unique experience with the hatch and turning the key. So that's why there's weirdness surrounding him about why would he only remember his meeting with Daniel years later on in a dream as a memory, something which according to the traditional rules, would be impossible to even remember at all in the first place. If it seems weird to you, it's because the answer is, it IS weird, because he's the exception.

When this episode first aired I had a theory Penny and Desmond's child being Charlie will be somehow Charles Widmore in future/past, lol.

Locke is easily the best character on LOST, although my personal favorite is Sayid. The time travel story line gets better honestly. Y'all are in for a LOT more surprises.

that intro's so sweet nikki got a new one after she lost the old one!lol richard really does have some great entrances i love rana theorizing and nikki's reaction to one of my people was outstanding-if she was in thehundred reactions then she would tear the writing apart

@@masoodjalal1152 They did. But "Charlie" has the same exact first name as Charlies Widmore. Calling their kid "Charlie" might help differentiate who he's named after, but the kid's legal name is still "Charles".

I'm pretty sure he's commenting on how the subtitles are running a full second or two ahead of the actual dialogue being said, which IS pretty annoying. Not the fact they are using subtitles, everyone uses them these days. It's great for remembering character names in shows with huge casts. I hope they aren't like that while they are actually watching the episodes.

21:05 - Suraj atleast give them a SECOND to think for themselves and put it together, which judging by their facial expressions they already knew. It's better to leave them guessing and hand feed every bit of information.

Mark McKeown at this point Suraj was so in love with Niki he always wanted to draw her atention or helping her to understand eveyrhing by telling her pretty much everything.

Season 5 answers guide: 1. The answer for why Richard visited Locke at birth or when he was a child was because a. John told him to visit him at birth and b. Richard visited Locke because "their chosing process begins at a very young age". 2. The girl Daniel did experiments on had the same sympthoms as Desmond in season 4 "The Constant" and Minkowski. That's why later in the season you as a viewer know that Daniel was the perfect man for the job (episode "Some Like it Hot"), because he knew everything about the island's electromagnetism. 3. The Show slowly develops Charles Widmore's character with this episode showing he as on the island (more to come). 4. This might be hard to get but actually the MiB not Jacob (although Locke was close) sent Locke in the past to die and get the Loophole mentioned in the season finale. More to come!

I always found it funny that Locke basically recruited himself for the job of Leader by telling Richard to scout his younger self out.

I really like your Lost reaction, but in my opinion you shouldn't watch it with subtitles. Rana and Nikki alway reading them instead on focusing on the picture and what it is told through the camera. For example they are reacting before something is said (18:43 and 19:49). Also, I know you want to talk alot during the episode and I really want to hear your thoughts and theories. But sometimes you miss some important things. Especially in season 5 you have to keep up with a LOT of information and connections. Please give it a thought but nonetheless stay the way you are! :)

These are my favorite videos of the week! But please, please, please turn off the subtitles. So many shocking reveals this season.

@@charmedoriginal5923 In episode 14 "The Variable", if I remember correctly, Richard calls her "Eloise". It is in 15 that she tells of the time she met Faraday and took him to Jughead, making us realise that it was her back then - which I think is what you asked.

I just realized Richard said the knife wasn’t locks he thought it was the compass but the compass was Richards originally so lock was wrong as a kid the compass wasn’t his 🤯 wow all these years lol and I seen the show so many times

Was Suraj in some sort of competition to be the most annoying person to watch TV with in this episode? People reacting to something are supposed to react themselves rather than have you explain it (completely unnecessarily) for them. Reactions are about getting a natural reaction not having you trying to make sure you get the reaction you want. The real kicker was when you decided to reveal they were in the 50s five minutes before the show did. Why?

My head canon is that Charlie's middle name is Daniel because Desmond would have died but for Daniel helping him connect with Penny in "The Constant."
