IDK how you came up in my feed, but I'm sure glad you did. My father was a master barber for 60 years and had his own shop for 50 ij the se neighborhood in Harlem. Just watching you artists perform your magic made me think of him. He had a "clean" shop and kept it that way. Had the old barbershop poles that rotated and was on the tourist route. His customers were the famous and the infamous. The rich and poorest who he gave free haircuts to and shaves with a straight edge razor so they would look nice for their moms on Mother's Day. We see the transformation of the customers thru spectacular skill. But these barbers serve also as the listeners to those who are ignored. The peacekeepers and the counselors. They serve so many functions. God bless them.

Love your post. When I wore my hair short, I'd go to a barber for regular cuts (because my beautician was so expensive). Although I would only be there 30 minutes to an hour, it was thoroughly entertaining. The conversations were deep, the humor was loud, and the vibe was total peace and fun with that at-home feeling to it. I can only imagine how great a barber your father was and what contributions he made to the community. Thanks for sharing your story.

The guy with the long hair and beard looked so much younger and approachable than before. All of the hair really aged him, but after the haircut and beard trim, his great smile and personality really shines through so much more. It's amazing what a difference a pair of scissors and clippers can make. He looks great! 👍

I really enjoyed watching this on a Sunday afternoon. All the guys came out looking so handsome. Amazing barber skills.

I was surprised at how good looking outlaw guy was after his haircut and beard trim. He looked young and you could see/notice his sparkling eyes and cute smile so much more. Good job.

I did the long hair thing for damn near 10 years, then a much loved family member was diagnosed with Stage IV lung cancer. Treatment made her hair fall out so innsolidaty I shaved mine off. Went from a pony tail a little past my shoulders to a buzz cut. To this day I keep my hair buzzed to 1/4" and man it is nice.......zero maintenance.

The most liberating two years of my life - all of 2017 and all of 2018 - was when I wore my hair cut very short. No fuss, no muss! It really was a thing of beauty.

I’ve been really enjoying these types of videos!! I especially loved watching the transformation on the first guy of this video!! Keep up with these awesome videos and cuts!! I definitely hope to visit Austin within the next couple years to visit your guy’s barbershop!! I’ve been wanting to do that for a while!!

I loved the barbers explaining what they were doing, and the products and techniques the guys would use. That’s the mark of a good barber or stylist is letting you know how to recreate the look and how often you should return. Nice job guys!

These were SO NICE. I'd love to see the reactions of their ladies to the changes. ❤️

Love the divers people you get to film. Helps me with parts of my hair cuts I work on to get it right. Also looking at speed now, since I cut my hair bi weekly. Great video!!

Enjoy watching the transformations. Really brings the guys into a new, more positive realm. Bet the wives...and mother's..love it..makes me consider changing from my hairdresser to these guys. They seem to better understand your hair cut description..

In my opinion, he had the worst look (long hair, big bushy beard) a man could have! Wild biker all the way! Lol! As a female, I’m totally into a clean cut, clean shaven man, so sexy!

Sea salt spray was life changing for my hair. I use a dry shampoo with sea salt between washes & a sea salt texture spray after I towel dry my hair

I still cry when I get a haircut. I began growing my hair long in high school, in the 1970s,....and wore it down and long until 1984,.....then I had it cut semi short, and styled, until the early 1990s. Then I began growing it long again, but I wore pulled back in a ponytail, ever since. I'd get neck trims, and some thinning, all along. I'm 68,...and my long ponytail is "my look". I always worked in the Arts, & was an artist, as well. I never held a straight, uptight job. Always a laid back one. I can't grow a beard to save myself, so I stuck with long hair. Even as it gets salt and pepper, I still like the way it looks. My ponytail has been fairly long for years. I use elastic bands to contain it.

I love when men have long hair! My husband has a ponytail and a very full beard. It's part of who he is.

All nice. First guy’s hair looks challenging to maintain though because it’s still longer. Of course would look younger if dyed beard. Middle guy looked younger. Last guy really sharp. I like the first and last barbers because they seem humble and approachable.

Barbers with souls of a Social Worker,listening and not judging,kindness,tenderness with the elderly and with children,such great people barbers are forever.
