I have a beginner question: On the up strum right before switching chords during the intro it sounds like he is playing the string open while switching chords. It sounds really nice. Is there some secret to making the transition sound like that, since mine always sound kinda choppy and awkward (obviously due to lack of skill). But it struck me while listening that I never really heard anyone talk about this.
