I don’t like avc or any vehicle driving assistance for that matter, I like to be responsible for all my wrecks! 😂 great video earl! I just bought my second db pro I bought one back when it first came out! Got one for my daughter now. Great rigs IMO.

@@earlmoorhead5555 use two bind plugs, one in the bind location the other in the disable port. Re-bind, remove both bind plugs... AVC completely disabled, and verified with a blinking light on the receiver.

@@earlmoorhead5555 This video is 11mo old and I am just getting one in 2021. When you ran the 3S battery which I plan to do only...you keep the 17T pinon in or swapped it for the recommended 15T? The manual warns to not do 15T on 3S

It's a short course truck with a different body and wing. Mip made a conversion kit for the SCTE to become an eighth scale buggy. Who remembers?

If you go to Radio Shack’s website and search “project box” they have really nice electronics enclosures of all different sizes. That would be perfect for your receiver. As for disabling AVC, you need two bind plugs. Put one in the bind port and one in the disable port then rebind the tx and rx. Hope you and your family have a merry Christmas.

rc Ohio there’s no bind ports on the new smart system but I’ll read the manual see how I can get it off they say that receiver water prof that’s why no box but idk if the location is safe but it runs great 💪💪🔥🔥👍👍

On my dB pro,,,,I’m putting a rustler receiver box,,mounting it between the servo and the motor,,that way it’s protected an encased.....I saw a guy on you tube do it,,great idea,,,part is on the way..........from what I understand you have to have 2 bind plugs to disarm the avc,,,,,,UPGRADED RC....explains in real detail how to do it,,,he has the DX5C RADIO....check it out....,,,,,have you noticed when you barely pull the throttle there is a slight delay,,,has a grinding sound but clears out when you add more throttle,,,,,don’t know what that is,,,maybe cogging,,,not sure. Never had that issue before on anything I own,,,,have fun,,,,,jim. Watch part 2 of his video,,explains every segment of the tx

Yes the avc is trying to control it at high speeds I’m trying to get it dialed back but I might just remove it and put my futaba radio on it 💯💯👍👍🔥🔥🔥🔥

I’m going to get the 411 rx which doesn’t have the avc option,,,,,I never use any traction controls on any of models,,,to me it’s very annoying,,,,plus it keeps the cost down...,,I like to have full control,,,I think all of this control features is just subliminally telling you to to buy parts after many mishaps of using the technology....sneaky eh,,,,,,,?,,,,just my thought.....

Both of those are really rc cars that don’t break much traxxas has the best support for customer satisfaction so I’d say the maxx based on that because if it breaks they normally take care of it 💯💯🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
