When I used to live in Chicago we ate elote every Sunday after mass. A food vender would sell that and churros. I miss that. We don't have that around here unfortunately.

I have a question since I’m assuming you’re mexican 😅 I’m from Cape Town South Africa, very diverse with lots of Malay influence in our foods. So its spicy, flavorful, etc. I’ve been trying out different mexican restaurants of which there aren’t many, in pursuit of what I THOUGHT mexican food tastes like. At these restaurants the food was bland, no flavour really but hot. So my question is, is this typical of mexican food or are they just doing it wrong over here?

Jodi-leigh Moolman that’s completely wrong bro I’ve noticed that the farther Mexican restaurants get from Mexico,Cali,Texas,Arizona the flavor is not the authentic flavor anymore I went to Miami one time tried some Mexican food there and it was a fucking joke the Cuban food was 🔥 though I recommend to hold off on judgment for it till you’re out here the Mexican food is flavorful and to die for yes there’s spicy food but there’s also alternatives to those spicy food that are all flavor no spice

I love street tacos. I make them sometimes for my family. I do the barbacoa and i have shredded cabbage, onions, cilantro, and limes. I also make from scratch the green jalapeno and cilantro sauce.

I know its probably because of Chia being from Sask but it's still cool seeing Tim wearing a CFL hoodie!
