So I was off on this early Wednesday morning. I was nearing my usual filming spot when I saw an octo pull up behind me. At first I thought it was 767, my recycling truck, which is usually the only octo working in the area. However, I saw it pick up a green can and as it got closer I realized it was 846. Just as I had hoped for, I’d gotten lucky with a sub driver for greenwaste! My greenwaste is usually collected by a 520 Pete, so this was a very pleasant surprise. In fact, I think it’s the first time in years that an octo has collected my greenwaste. I followed 846 around for a little bit, and shortly after 767 pulled up for recycling, followed by 192 for trash. After that I just switched between the three trucks on different streets. First time getting all three trucks on film this summer!
A big thank you to the drivers again, especially the greenwaste sub for being so cool and letting me film. I hope I can get some more subs next week, since I’ve basically been filming the same trucks for the past few videos. I’m expecting my regular greenwaste driver to be back next week, and I’ll try and film him as well. It’ll be difficult though, since he always shows up much earlier than the other two trucks. Apart from that, I don’t plan on filming any more trucks this summer unless I can get lucky again with some spares and subs. I really want to keep the truck variety strong on this channel and don’t want to make the videos too repetitive. Thank you to everyone for watching, and enjoy!
