My mother needed dental work done and so her brother told her about getting it done in Mexico as he is a snowbird in Quartzsite. This was a new experience for both of us! I was blown away by how many dental clinics and pharmacies that were tucked away in this little town. Not to mention optometrists and MD's as well. Along with street vendors. It was very colourful and fun. We had to cross the border 2 days. The first day we had to stand in line almost an hour, as it was still snowbird season. The second time was not as bad as a lot of them had gone home over the weekend.
