Another band that you can tell is very grateful for their success is definitely Ingested. They are always super humble in interviews, and genuinely seem thankful for being able to play at huge shows / tour.

I love their music: It's fucking heavy and technical and in my opinion, one of the best in the deathcore genre. But I don't think I would have such an affinity for them if they weren't such cool dudes. I've seen them three times and during those I've spoken to Tom every show. I've spoken to Gary, Austin and Adam quickly; I've never gotten to speak to Connor. Even though I've spoken to them shortly, you can feel a resonance of appreciation from them. Tom is the only one I've gotten to have conversations with and he is a really sweet guy. Every single of them are down to earth, appreciative, every day people who make you feel good for being a fan. And their music is fantastic, but it's the quality of their characters that make me such a devoted fan to them. I could give a shit about a lot of bands and people, but these guys are something else.

Tom Barber is one of the MOST REALEST people there is! I'm a OG fan of Lorna Shore, been listening to them since their Maleficium e.p, and met him on their first year of tour, when Carnifex brought them out to open for them in 2014. I'm so proud of Tom, and the rest of the band, hands down this is one of the best albums in this genre. The lyrics, and vocals are spot on, I couldn't be more proud of Lorna Shore as a whole, I see them going places like Carnifex has 100% Real Recognize real!

These documentaries are gold. We appreciate them ten-fold. I know I do love the band more personally.. similar to black dahlias Majesty Ever since then fans could relate and be more comfortable maybe in person

Flesh Coffin was the peak of this band in my opinion. Don't get me wrong I REALLY like Immortal, but man this album just hits different. The dark atmosphere and lyrics are nailed so well. I really miss having Tom in this band...

Hot take: I'll take Tom over CJ any day. There's something about CJ's growls that come off as artificial to me. Like they're entirely too gnarly without some kind of little cheat lmao

Clezzykrunk Yeah I feel you. I also feel like in some songs his vocals kind of “distract” you from the instruments, whereas Tom’s voice compliments them. I’m just glad Tom seems to be fitting well into Chelsea Grin.
