Lorn was my first step out of my strictly old school techno/rock music. That's all I ever listened to. I stumbled upon his song, "ghossts", if I spelt that right and it absolutely blew my freaking mind. It almost immediately led me to all kinds of genres of music I never even knew was out there. Even stuff completely unrelated to this genre. What it did was made me realize I was missing out on so much and it drove me to search for everything.

@@qpTheDarknessqp Hz is an abbreviation for Hertz, which is a measure of soundwave frequency per second. For example, a soundwave of 40 Hertz completes 40 wavelengths per second. All sound is vibrations, or "vibes", in the sense that waves oscillate up and down, producing a vibrating pattern among the atoms they affect as they travel.

This song reminds me of being home in Detroit for some reason. Growing up there, hearing the old schools talk about what it was like long ago, in contrast to the city I lived in. They talked about the car plants from when they were alive, while my friends and I were going out at night to dance in their boneyards. It also reminds me of how all of the things I associate with my childhood :parents, cars i saw, stores, buildings, etc - they're all gone, torn down, dead, abandoned. Even the bones we used to go out and dance under, theyre all gone too.

Marcos, I just wanted to say thank you for creating music. I have heard a lot of different sonic pieces of art in my life, but what you do is absolutely mind-bending. Usually, I associate something with music; some period of life, events, people, emotions, but with your art it doesn't work that way. It has such a strong character, such a potent emotion engrained inside it that it just does not allow any associations and foreign feelings of my own to latch on to it. It just sweeps my mind like a hurricane in stasis and presents itself to me in feelings of complexity that I did not know music can make me experience. I lack the vocabulary to describe them. Whenever someone asks me about Lorn, I tell them that it's not music, it's a place. And it is indeed a place where I go often. Please keep doing what you're doing. Your's truly, Esam

Pawo is the perfect ending track. When I listen to it, I would always imagine a person walking down empty streets on a dark cold night and then coming home and switching on the lights, breathing out with relief. And this would put a nice stop at the end of the album. It is very interesting to see a different take on visuals. And the visuals seem to tie with the Acid Rain video. The car in the beginning, that touches it's "ghost" is the same one, that falls down the chasm of darkness. And it also looks like the car that was crashed in Acid Rain. This is a dream of that car crash, an abstract memory of it. I don't know if the videos were supposed to be connected, but they are in my head now.

Wow! It's an amazing combination of music and visual madness on a desert highway. Some kind of magical realism. It looks like the found old David Lynch and David Fincher collaboration short film.

It is like classic music in modern times, he don't even need basic thing such as percussion to make a masterpiece. I'll always love you for what you did to this world. Please keep going

Please respond to my one comment so I can say my all time favorite musician actually said something to me. I am a 30-something male but it would make me all giddy anyways!

I can't believe I didn't leave a comment here. The atmosphere in every Lorn MV is just haunting. The colors in this one are fantastic, mournful and warm. Fits PAWO perfectly.

a couple of years ago I commented on Your MSDOS by writing that I think you have created a genre. The emotions you create with each of your pieces are always new and profound. Listening to your wonders I try to improve my humble notes. Yet another masterpiece that combined with this film becomes another milestone. Thanks Lorn!

I now know the meaning of when someone says, "words can't describe how this feels right now." Your music is the definition of just that. It captures the highs, lows and in betweens. Just listen and ride the wave. Looking forward to your new music.

Lorn man, I've been going through one of the most messed up times of my life for the past three years. When I discovered your music it touched my soul and I felt understood and accepted . It guided me through my suffering and helped me understand myself better. Your music speaks to me so much in a way that I can't explain to you man. Its like a dark comforting presence which always just understands. I just wanted to say I appreciate all of the love you put into your work, as I can feel it every time I listen to it. Thank you man.

Ah, man. I'll never, ever get over your music, I find it difficult to put my love for your work in better words. Your work and attitude to it has helped shape my understanding of music and film in a big way over the past 7 odd years I've listened to it. It's absolutely stunning to see the same sublime, immense weight in the visuals by Marks. I'm so, so happy you guys made this. 🤞🤞 for a collab with you sometime.

Why? Why? Why does your music do this to me? This gets me at my core when nothing else does. It's almost like we're matching harmonics. Breathtaking...
