It's interesting how his nystagmus enhances this effect. I believe in his case it would probably be early-onset, due to albinism and the resulting visual impairment (observe how none of them drove the car - they probably wouldn't feel safe doing so). It underlines the uncertain look on his face in an amazing way. Just like the driving thing was turned around to make a facelass goon the chauffeur of the higher beings. Their visual health status and the resulting problems were utilized by the director in amazing ways!

Wow, just discovered this, and the timing for finding this couldn’t have been better. I’m 22, and despite losing my job from covid, I decided it was time to make massive change in my life, so a couple weeks ago I moved across the US with only three suit cases and a couple thousand. I feel like the song/video perfectly embody that inexplicable feeling you get when you’re maintaining so much hope for so long without even having a concrete reason to, but you do anyway. To hear this for the first time in my first (empty) apartment 2,500 miles from home was absolutely surreal, and feels like it just marked the start of something new. Maybe this is an overshare, but I can’t think of another video that touched me the way this one did and just thought I’d share the experience 🙂

This piece of music echoes throughout the universe when a big moment has arisen upon the horizon for humanity and earth at large. May us all rejoice during this sublime, visceral and remarkable experience - one of enlightenment, fulfillment and reletentless triumph. May God bless you all, my friends, in this beautiful universe we call life. At the end, when all is said and done, we are together - and then we'll be okay, and all will be okay.

When this video came out I was dating a girl from Paris, our relationship fell apart while she studied abroad in China and the haunted vibes in a replica of Paris in this video matched my feelings perfectly
Something big is on the horizon - something intense, something hopeful, something life-changing, something universal, for all of us. This track is reletentlessly triumphant in that moment - it's the visceral sublimity of its second section with the heavy synths that captures this essence I am talking about; may God bless us all in this universe, and the history we find ourselves living in.
For some reason after a few days of listening to this song it started to put tears into my eyes when the synth started. It’s a song that gives the feeling of HOPE and nothing else.

You are confusing emotions or feelings... it is not HOPE, the sensation is that of MELANCHOLY... I will use the words given on a lecture by a spritual medium : "Every human being senses an inner longing that goes deeper than the longings for emotional and creative fulfillment. This longing comes from sensing that another, more fulfilling state of consciousness and a larger capacity to experience life must exist.” Pathwork lecture 204

This piece of music is the embodiment of an event happening, so massive that almost everything around you was building around to said moment. This piece provides an unbelievable emotion which I can't describe - one in which is sublime, beautiful, and visceral, full of the knowledge that in my life, or for humanity, something big is on the horizon. We are on the verge of a third world war, a new international era - whether it's the conflict between the U.S., Russia and China this year, or the hope we all feel moving on from current times, Jamie xx's Gosh forms the dichotomy between a relentless triumph of hope and a dreaded sense of chaos subsuming: it captures the phenomenon that is our global lives, and the massive events entailed within it. If you asked me, what record depicts the world the absolute most accurately at this current time - it would be this one.

I would guess it's because you understand there are goals you want to strive for whose pursuit would probably bring real happiness and meaning into your life, but you're worried you'll never give it a shot because it's scary to take a risk. This song in a way describes that happiness you know you can get but don't have yet. At least, this is what the song does for me.

For those who have not understood anything in the meaning of this clip. In many countries in sub-Saharan Africa, people with albinism are regularly victims of homicide, they are targets of ritual killings. i lived in africa for 4 years, the population rejects albinism. The number of person albinism that I could meet in the street unemployed proves that they are rejected by the population. I am very proud to see artists defending abinism. I have had friends that have been rejected by whites and friends that have been rejected by blacks. This thing with superficial layers of flesh colour has been holding progress of the world back, for way too long. My post was a comment to GAB RU, to whom my reply to is, rather than the video. GAB RU has mentioned a fact: people with albinism are regularly victims of homicide. If you relate my reply and focus more, probably then you will relate my reply to the subject of discussion rather to the viedo itself. So please pay attention before calling others fools. Have a good day.
