Oh, Nick, it is wonderful to see the progress these two sweethearts have made while in the care of the WA. Both Amari and Lori look so healthy. Lori is strong now and Amari has gained weight and, despite her sight and age, she is doing so much better. Thank you all so much for the hard work that you do with all of the animals in your care, especially for this mother and daughter duo that captured our hearts. ❤️

Reading all the lovely thank you notes on here and not finding a single bad one, I am happy to know there are a lot of lovely people in this online community of Macaque Lovers! Quite a pleasant change, isn't it? Shows how just a handful of bad apples can make this place miserable.

It blows my mind how much i care about these two monkeys on the other side of the world that ive only seen through my phone. I about jumped out of my seat when i saw this video come up. Thank you so much for the update. I havent known how to check about them and ive been worried

Matt stegall if you go to the wildlife alliance website you can catch up with a lot of the rescued babies, i know that regular updates isn't always easy as the staff there work very hard, but there are some lovely videos of Lori & her mum and it is a joy to know how well they are doing, Lori Is a little cutie and I for one love her to bits, she's captured the hearts of many all over the world that she is now classed as the worlds Princess Lori, "of the monkey world.!!!

Nick, Sitheng and the rest of the WLA team, there's no way to thank you enough for the work you do not only with Lori and Amari but all the other animals as well. My wife and I have been involved in animal rescue for 27 years so I understand how challenging it is to do what you do every single day. This is the perfect way to do an update on the girls. It would be ridiculous to expect daily videos indefinitely with all you have to deal with. I think a short update every three to four months is plenty enough to allow viewers to track their progress. On a similar note, I hope you'll keep providing videos of the other sanctuary residents. It's great to see all of them, especially my favorite, the Gibbons. Lastly, let me apologize on behalf of the troublesome KZread viewers who wouldn't stop bothering you. It's unfortunate there are so many who think they're entitled to tell you how to do your jobs. Believe me when I say there are plenty of us who don't condone that kind of behavior whatsoever. We hope one day to travel to Cambodia and meeting you guys will be first on our to-do list. Thank you again and take care.

That clicking sound Amari is making is because she cant see. She is asking those around her to identify themselves. I believe.

They look so so much better! Thank you Wildlife Alliance for such kindness and dedication. You are angels for these wildlife.

My god is Lori beautiful... she looks so damn healthy. The best I've ever seen her look. Almost 100% her right hand doesn't seem to be all the way back but I never thought it would be. But her fur looks great she's got a chubby lil belly. I'm so happy for her. To see her climbing a tree without any problems.... Wow I never really thought she'd be able to. U guys have done such a terrific job with her and Amari. Thx for everything u guys have done for Princess Lori...

WoW! Once again Lori pulls through like a CHAMP! She looks so much better so does Amari! I’m really glad they were taken here. You can see Lori has gained weight she’s climbing she’s with her mom in all of it. This was the right thing to do!

thank you so much for taking the time to bring us this update , for me, it is much appreciated, Lori looks so wonderful, and healthy, she certainly has made a remarkable recovery and I truly believe that it was only achieved by the care and time you all took with both Lori and Amari that she recovered so well. just seeing her confidence in climbing up and down the tree is awesome. there is no way Amari would have survived in the wild , there is no better life she could want for, she has Lori, they have each other for the time being, and Lori has friends, thank you all for what you do as I know there are many more of these wonderful and endangered creatures that need taking care of, I love watching how an animal first arrives into your care and the transformation it goes through as it learns to trust , thrive and rehabilitate , so rewarding. *Both look so improved! And it looks to me like Lori can see so much better. Amari seems to see some too. Hopefully the better diet has improved her blood sugars. Thank you for the update!*

Tim Welch Lori has some improvement in her sight but unfortunately Amari's eyesight has not improved, she can only see right up close, but yes it is so lovely seeing Lori climbing that tree, it looked to me like she was guiding her mum down to safety.!!!

Wow!, Lori looks great. Her Mobility is/has improved tremendously.

What a wonderful start to my new year to see Amari and Lori enjoying the fresh air and looking happy and healthy. I never thought that I’d see the day when Lori climbed up a tree again, it brought a lump to my throat to see her scramble so quickly up there so quickly as if she’d never had any problems. To see how far they’ve come after all their struggles brings joy to my heart. I want to thank all of you who have been involved in their nurturing and care, you have done an exceptional job and I will be eternally grateful to you for that. Were it not for the kindness, patience and love you have shown them and all the other animals you’ve rescued and dedicated your time and skills to the outcome for them would have been very grim. DiscoScottie They certainly do make it work. If we think of everything that is involved in the day to day care of all the animals with each person doing their part it’s absolutely commendable. It’s not a job just anybody could do, there has to be real genuine passion and determination as well as having to keep control over our emotions when dealing with very sick and wounded animals

Both look well☺ I am glad that even Amari can enjoy some time out...but as you mentioned she seems to like the routine of her enclosure because of her blindness. Thank you for the video and update, completely understand that the priority is the care of the animals and not daily or weekly videos. Truely appreciate seeing them again!
