Debra Krusch I totally agree! She is already a different monkey. They constantly antagonized her to get what they considered good video it was disgusting and I was so worried once she got older they would abandon her back in the wild where she would die for sure a terrible death in one way or another. I’m so happy she was taken away and placed with wild life alliance where she should have been all along.

It is so good to see her NOT screaming with her leg up at her head. 💕

This is hands down PROOF, that Santa needed to be removed from those people's care. She seems like a totally different monkey. Much calmer and her eyes look bright , not the look of terror and fear I've seen before. Thank you to all who made this possible

@@abbyluxemburg8968 No they are not medicated. They are nurtured and their basic needs are met and there is no abuse. They allow her to hug and not turn her for photo ops rather just natural activity. Also they don't feed her on her back and make sure she is facing the camera. She is allowed to be a monkey.

I’m so grateful she is at WLA.

That's wonderful. They now have all these extra little mouthes to feed, and take care of medically for the next 30 to 40 years. WLA has taken in eight of them since September 2018. I'm sure they appreciate any and all support. Very thoughtful of you 💜🐒💜

She has gone thru so much beginning from birth when she was dangling from her umbilical cord on the tree n mother too weak to take her. Awwwww!!! My beautiful Santa already in Love with you guys n happy in her surrounding. Poor baby monkey it's does my heart so much good to see her at Peace. She was tortured from the day she was born. I Really Appreciate You All Taking Her. I know she is safe now. Much Love to You All for what you do for all of the animals in your care. 😍 This is absolutely amazing!!! That's all she ever wanted to do is cling and be loved like any other baby monkey.. I honestly about given up hope that she would ever be rescued from that awful situation. This made me so happy I almost cried.. She is a little bit of a mess after all she's been through but I think in time she will grow above and beyond it.. At least she has a chance to be the monkey she was meant to be now. Thank you so much for this update!!!

Adelene Beh I don’t think Santa or any of the others could join a troop. The troop may not accept them. They could, however, go to WLCare.

She’s not curled up in a ball screaming and clutching herself frantically. Physical comfort and touch is all she ever wanted. She wasn’t spoiled or in need of discipline. Her demeanor is so different now. She already trusts this guy and uses him as home base from which to explore. The twitches are still there, but already lessened.

It amazes me for ppl who spend their days watching filming and editing footage of mother macaques raising babies, how they do not grasp how to simply replicate it (perhaps with some minor adjustments like a sling and baby bottle). I also am baffled by those not local who think these babies are spoiled and need discipline. Do they not realize they are equivalent to human infants with some months aging adjustments?Would they say the same about human baby? The thought is terrifying.

Well she looks nice and relaxed it’s good to see her like that .. much more peaceful environment to be in. 👍🏻😊

Thank you so much for saving this sweet little girl. She already looks so much calmer and happier. It was heartbreaking to watch her clutch herself and cry. All the while being recorded In her agony. The captions on Those videos saying how she missed her "Mommy". Again a million thank yous. How Can those interested help with funding. There will always be a need for rescues.Let's hope we always have competent rescuers.

God bless you for rescuing her from that woman I've NEVER seen her so quiet thank you for treating her how she should have been treated. She NEVER got to be held for any length of time or paid attention to this long just put in clothes that ran up around her neck or too big. The first time she was dressed I've NEVER seen without words anyone yet an animal make it SO clear that she was furious she had clothes put on her. She flipped out when she looked down and touched the dress that had a purse that wrapped around her neck to go with it she looked at what they had done to her and literally flipped out again NEVER seen body language SO clear. It wasn't funny but it was. She went to itch herself didn't realize she had been dressed yet when her foot touched the purse they put on her she then touched the dress looked at the rest of her outfit and like I said literally flipped out she screamed pulled on her dress the then jumped but fell over by then her purse was around her neck SO she just laid where she landed and cried .

Thank You for taking her! I believe she will be a much happier little girl and you know what is best for her!
