The album was recorded last summer when Loreena performed at four folk festivals in Ontario, Canada. It’s a joyous return to her roots, a kind of musical winding back to the beginning of her career, her earliest days on the folk circuit and its characteristic culture of community.
The Road Back Home is set for release on March 8th - just in time for St. Patrick’s Day. It’s available on CD, 180-gram black vinyl, via digital music services (including Dolby Atmos) and in retail stores. The album features 10 songs, many of which have remained unrecorded until now.

Same here. In 2007 my husband and I were able to meet her backstage at her concert in Philadelphia PA, we got to sit front row, because we donated through PBS and she supported this charity. She’s very kind and elegant.

Last Sunday night my wife and I we were to the concert in the awesome park in Pratolino in the nearby of Florence and we really had a magical night, the amazing voice of Loreena seemed pass through the trees shooting for the sparking stars… an unforgettable concert! Than you Loreena!

Have been to 8 wonderful Loreena concerts--Stratford twice, Massey Hall twice, Roy Thomson Hall, Peterborough Showplace twice and loved the performance at Peterborough Folk Festival last summer. Counting the days until the album is released!!!

Went to a concert many years ago by Lorena McKennet in Northampton Massachusetts, it was fabulous!
