Don’t know who the judge is who chose her to sing this with Loreen, but they chose wrong. This proves the point that just because you can sing, doesn’t mean you should sing every song. Not to mention their voices don’t blend nicely.

I thought this was breathtaking. This duet was the first time I heard this song; I have zero clue where all this hate is coming from. Those ladies killed it and brought tears to my eyes from the performance.

Another comment is about stage presence. Loreen not only did she looked her her duet partner but she moved towards the audience and sang to them. The other girl just stared and sang to Loreen for dear life lol

Iris didn’t do anything “awful” to Loreen! It was just a small mistake which is very likely to happen considering the fact that she is singing with someone famous and she can also be very nervous because of it so stop being a hater and mind you own business because Iris did great especially for a song like this.

I'm sure Iris is a great singer with the right song, but this is not the right song for her voice. I can't really tell what's going on. Whether Iris's voice is too weak for the belt or if she's belting too much without sufficient breath support, but either way, when it comes to the belt on all and loved, her voice does not support it. Idk if its because her voice is too mellow for such as powerful song or what, but her voice does not suit this song. I know this because I heard her other performances, which sounded better than this, so I know she can sing. Also, with duets, you have to consider the vocal blend, and what the other singer sounds like. Loreen is great, obviously, it's her song, but she does not blend well with Iris at all, and that the judges' fault. It's their job to put this stuff together and they didn't do a good job with this. Maybe this was test of some sort of test during the competition? Idk. Loreen's voice is great, but it lies in this unique area where she does well alone, but she's not the type of singer who can "carry a performance" if her singing partner doesn't do well. What I mean is that she can't sing for two people. For example, Faouzia, Diana Ankudinova, Beyonce etc. could all carry this duet by themselves if their partner can't sing as well as them, but Loreen seems to be struggling a bit. I can't tell if she's struggling to figure out how to blend with Iris, or if she's not even trying to because she knows there's no point. Loreen is a great singer hands down and this song is great...by her. I just think the vocal pairing was a weak choice due to Iris and her voice not fitting the song and as a result, it makes them both sounds bad. From 1:29 to about 1:54 the vocal disconnect is mostly on Iriss part. I hear that she can sing (I think), but she seems to be pushing more on the volume/powerful rather than balancing volume and pitch because in the timestamps I laid out, there's several moments where she's overpowering Loreen in volume, but the pitch accuracy isn't there. And the pitch accuracy is important, ESPECIALLY during a duet because if you're not singing on pitch while your partner is, it won't blend well or sound good. Iris seems to be focusing more on giving 100% to the volume and then hoping the pitch matches, because the volume is great, but when she doesn't those higher belts on the chorus, and second verse, the pitch isn't 100%. As a singer myself, singing live is difficult, I know that, and pitch doesn't have to be on the nose exactly, that won't usually perfectly happen, but it should still be on the pitch enough to blend with another singer, but here, it does not. Even at the end after 2;20, again, Iris goes more for the sound of the breathy, airy singing into another high belt, but both times doesn't get the pitch. She sings the lighter, airy part but is off pitch and I can tell Loreen is so done (look at her face at 2:25 and a few times throughout the song). Then once again when the about them all part comes around she gives her all into the power of the note rather than the pitch. Shes focused more on the power rather than dynamically balancing the pitch and as a result, the blend is off. The voices do not blend because Iris is over singing instead of mixing with Loreen. I think Iriss vocal type (like her overall sound/vibrato/tessitura and timbre) does not mix with Loreen's and then add the lack of pitch accuracy. It sounds like she's trying to out-sing Loreen rather than with her. Before any gets mad, I think both are good singers in their own right, but this match up isn't the best and I think Iris is giving more towards the wow factor of powering through the chorus than balancing pitch and power. Loreen is great all around; I just think she may be struggling to blend with Iris because Iris isn't singing dynamically.
