It's not the brand's fault. That's the definition of any semi-permanent color. You can only go darker with it, not lighter. If you want to color black hair you should pick one of their permanent formulas.

I agree, you need a more vibrant shade in order for it to show on your natural hair colour. It does look pretty but I think if you're after a more dramatic effect you either need to pre-lighten your hair, or go for a vivid cherry red to get the desired effect.

Its the color you have chosen but still looks good. I use the same brand and I don’t mind it not being perfect it covers grey and is less damaging than permanent I think you hair turned out nice.

Thank you so much... I think this brand is really good , I have used it again after this also. I have noticed that the color settles down after 1 week or so to a very pleasant shade...

That has to do with the tint the hair dye was made for ig? the first number before the "." mean that the colour is "designed" for one range of hair tints. E.g. the 7 in 7.80 stands for an orange yellow aka a dark blonde. The number after "." stands for the glow the colour will give your hair. These vary from the brand you use. For L' oreal 8 stands for a mocha undertone. If you've got black hair you ought to look at colours that start with 1-4 as 1 stands for an ink black and 4 stands for a dark brown. I've done this research just recently as it's the first time I'm going to colour my hair, so I hope this helped you as much as it helped me!! :))

If you want a change of colour you need a permanent dye or if you really want your dark roots to look different go to the salon

Color stays on for a long time all most 3 months. Also develops into a very beautiful caramel color. But gray hair starts showing after 1 month or 45 days.

Why dont you like you black roots? It actually looks very nice after the coloring. People pay a lot of money to get that ombre look. You did it by one box of color.

Omg!!!!! LOL …. When did I mention I live in USA …. In most of my videos I keep saying here in ODISHA !!!!! I moved back from USA 2 years back… I also did a vlog !!! Also “fake accent “ is a state of mind who always think that they are superior then others … who are we to judge anyone anyways!!! English is a foreign language… it is a language common in a country of more then 20 languages… we just have to open our minds just a tiny little bit to understand it
