*FACTION SHRINE CURRENCY UPDATE* I was originally going to make a video on how to farm the faction shrine currencies, but the drop rates are really bad even with the items that boost your discovery rate. If you still want to give it a try, the "Elite" enemies I mentioned from each faction are the bosses you fight that become normal enemies. For example: Sacred Bell guy for Coins, Ruiner for Sacred Hands, Mendacious Visage, and so on.

Despite what people say, I think the developers should be commended for the fact that all of this is free. I look forward to playing and experimenting with new spells and equipment.

Even if you don't consider the game incomplete, why the fuck would we have to pay for an update of this size? I've seen free games put out updates that add twice as much for no additional cost. No shit it's gonna be free.

A couple of pieces of advice for farming stuff: 1. A much easier place to farm the Pureblade for the shield throw spell is close to the arena where you fight the Sacred Resonance of Tenacity. There's a Pureblade enemy kneeling down in front of an altar. To his right is a staircase. Besides the staircase is an umbral seedbed. Place a seedling there and farm away. I don't think there are variants of Pureblades, all of them will buff their shields with light. 2. If you're doing an inferno ending run, when you need to desecrate the beacons further with the empowered rune of Adyr, the beacon in the Hushed Saint's arena is protected by 3 Sin Piercers and an Enraptured huntress. There's also an umbral seedbed there and when you respawn they don't immediately aggro. That's how I farmed the Sin Piercer Helmet after god knows how many runs, so it might be a faster way to get the new feint arrow spell. 3. For the Abbess enemies, like some others have mentioned, I'd farm them in the Empyrean. There's 2 of them in a straight line. There are also two pairs of Abiding Defenders on the bottom floor of the cathedral if you need large shards or their weapons/armor. As always, if you can, use a shield with three Nhelaq runes slotted. The two variants of the rabbit feet (regular and skeletal) stack. There's an umbral eye that gives you 30% more item while you're in umbral if you socket it in a secondary slot. There's a ring called Bountiful Ring (?) or something like that, and if you have two copies the item find buff will stack. EDIT: A miscellaneous piece of advice when dealing with Sin Piercers and more specifically, their helmeted dogs - if you kick the dog in the head while it's still wearing its helmet, you will instantly stun it and can one shot stomp it. Saved me a ton of trouble. Best of luck!

@@NinjaPups you missed one inferno spell. Rising fire. You farm on fire enchantress. all 3 inferno spells are easier to farm where you farm runner.

I loved this game on release. Rediculous how much people hated on it at release. I personally had no problems with connection. Maybe I'm lucky, but I love the magic and ranged options in this game.

A good spot for the pureblade farming is the tower of penance. Put your seedling down at the bridge boss fight area in front of the tower. There is a holy bulwark in the courtyard behind you, but there is also a pureblade down in the alley to the right. Then go up the stairs, past the praying monks and there are two more pureblades in the area. One has an umbral parasite, so get your lamp ready. 3 pureblades and a shorter run.

No idea if Ninja didn't just mention it clearly to me, but farming the Rowena, Ice Axe guy and big head guy together under the same bunny paw, and ring for drops, is totally the fastest way to get all three. Also instead of wasting a Seedling, there are two abbesses right after The Empyrean, much better. ;) Thanks for the vid still.

Today I finished Lords Of the Fallen. And farm the shield spell and Chalice throw weapon. I was surprised to see the new staff from the enemies which I killed in hundreds or thousands))) Now with thith video I know that I have something to farm for)))

I noticed something that can be a little time saving is that to make the enemies you farm drop loot more often, hit them few times and when they reach to low health like 1 hit and will die, soul flay them and hit their soul till you get a mark that you can execute him, execute him, you will see the character executing him with the lamp and the enemy body is gone. I did that 10 times to the ruiner and got loot from him 9 out 10 of the times

elite enemies are enemies that were bosses but then turned into normal enemies that you fight throughout the game. So for the severed hands it's the inferno guys like enchantress, ruiner, etc, for the eyeballs its the mendacious visage, abbess, sacred bell guy for coins, and so on. But sadly, they are really bad drop rates. Just do the lantern vengeance things that drop the 3 eyeballs for the eyes, it's better than farming the umbral elites.

Can’t get rid of em) Nice & all, farming the other shrine trophies ain’t bad either-people could do that in DS3 if they weren’t in the mood for PvP (they just took forever to drop) BUT speaking of PvP-3rd time this is cool but; really wanting PvP fixed. BUT, in the patch notes-apparently PvP has had a hard reset fix. I’d like to see-if it’s good? Oh man hell yeah! If not…damn it Really the only patch I’ve been looking for is repaired PvP & last clean up on play/bugs/fluidity Guess we’re gonna find out (These devs have been working hard…there were some unnecessary patches though-& I don’t know WHO they listened to far as nerfing the bosses!)

I got really lucky with three spells. I started a new ng+ 0 for mt umbral ending run. First knight I killed dropped me the shield, and the first sin piercer dropped me the arrow spell.

@@NinjaPups it's right after the Empyean vestige in an open space leading to castle, if you have points in inferno, you can one shot them using the magma search without even having to fight

I put this game down after getting remnant 2, seems like it would be worth getting back into now. I only got to like lvl 25.

Took me like 2 weeks of 6-hour days to finally get them all although I think I had all but one for at least half the time but the one thing I can't remember what it was took forever to finally get which is dumb I felt like letting a steam roller run over my head in front of my family on Christmas morning just to ruin their Christmas

I had gotten the range spell for radiance and the inferno one and i log back an didnt have them anymore

I wish they would’ve given us the Infernal Enchantress fireball spell instead of incinerating blast. The fireball spell options we have aren’t that great we need one without the arch in the spell.

I can't believe it taking so long to farm these things. Still trying to farm the first one to drop...The Smithing Shield radiance spell. About 3+ hours now. No drop. And I have the Bountiful Ring equipped for discovery buff...Plus the highest discovery paw of which I'd bought a load of them to use also. Nada. And I've followed the extended route further also. This is bordering on ridiculous now. Wasted a 3 good hours. EDIT: Actually I was able to farm the rest of spells a lot faster this morning. This was with all these: The Pumpkin Mask, Bountiful Ring, and popping both Lucky Paws and Charmed Paws. I got all the new spells now. Next are the Throwable weapons.

How about going over how to farm the coins hands and eyeballs

I would recommend for the Abess farm to go to the Emphyrean. Two abbesses back to back with a straigh line run. Which will be good for people picking up the game further down the line as I imagine we will get some Abiding Defender spells later as well.

The ravager helmet with the dark crusader (paladin isaac) arms, chest, and the harrower leggins.

Honestly these spells looks very phoned in.. The shield toss doesn’t even spin the shield around. Just a static model flying forward. It looks bad.. 😔

Unfortunately the boss weapons are extremely annoying to make a video on, to the point where I'm not really sure I can cover them. If the problem was only the lack of deralium chunks, it wouldn't be that big of an issue because those are easy to get on subsequent playthroughs. But what makes it really difficult to make the video is that each boss weapon ability requires you to complete a specific quest for a specific character, sometimes even being so specific that you need to summon X character during X boss fight just to get the weapon's ability active for that playthrough and if you restart your playthrough the weapon ability doesn't stay. For example, in order to get the sundered monarch boss weapon ability to work, you need to do the full tortured prisoner questline and then specifically summon her during the sundered monarch boss fight. All of that takes place at the end of the game and requires a full playthrough to do. So to do the rest of the weapons, it would take me like 6+ more playthroughs, each requiring me to do certain quests over. It's just not worth the time and I figure I'll let other people cover it. It would've been a lot better had they just slapped the boss abilities on the weapons if you had them +10.

You know those enemies that you fought as a boss but now they can be found in free roam? The Ruiner, Mendacious Visage, Percival, Bell Head Guy, etc? Those are elite enemies. I've been doing some testing and the drop rates seem pretty bad unfortunately, unless you're stacking both the lucky paw and charmed paw plus the bountiful ring for a higher drop rate chance. So far I've gotten 1 pilfered coin from the sacred bell guy once, 3 plucked eyeballs from mr. potato head, 2 severed hands from the ruiner and 1 from the enchantress, all after quite a lot of farming :/

I’ve done several run through of the game on new game plus 0 but I’ve never advanced to new game plus 1. This makes it pretty easy to steamroll most of the bosses and the bosses give a lot of vigor. At some point I just ran out of things to spend it on and kept saving it, although recently I did spend a lot of it on the shards to upgrade a lot of boss weapons so I’m back to down to almost nothing.

Will this updates be permanent or seasonal?

The farming rate is terrible. I used bountiful ring, charmed paw, lucky paw, and Umbral Eye of Ethryg which boosts my item discovery to 30% and still aint getting a single drop!
