@@thedarkeldenlord1523Hi there! Yes it carries over in NG+ modes. All of unlocked weapon skills carry over, no need to do the same quests after unlocking them once. Note that sometimes whenever a new update comes, some of these skills however get disabled. bug or sth. sucks 😅

Sad they're locked behind quests and dumb requirements. Fight a boss, buying his weapon, upgrade it to + 10 BUT having to do a triple method backflip into kickflip over the pit of despair to make the elephant appears and having to wear the eternal underwear of calamity is total BS. But nice looking moves. I hope for mod that removes the requirement but left the + 10 upgrades (to keep a bit of balance)

Thek didn't spawn ng+ at abbey again for me after I did every step of his quest first time I got told I could just go to the abbey and he'd spawn but he didn't, they're lv10 and I've got the banner of the immaculate lady and soulflayed all stigmas

Lightreaper daggers' ability oneshots most of the enemies

They took the piss with the small window you get for Elianne’s remembrance stuff. Now I gotta start again 🙄

You only need to do the Dark Crusader Isaac Quest to unlock three weapons special attacks: Lightreaper Swords, Daggers as well as Lightreaper Spear.

Good evening, I acquired the two lightreaper daggers and the swords, but when I use them with one or two hands, don't they make their animations with fire? (I have the inferno attribute at 12) so they should work, but I don't understand why...

Nice. Bookmarked. About Judge Cleric's CORRUPTED sword. Is it that you can only execute its special attack with the sword in one hand? Or can you have another sword in the other hand to dual-wield. It's one of my favourite swords and the one in my main hand. I'd really love to be able to use the special ability but I love dual-wielding. Hope it is possible. Let me know.

I just unlocked the special attack at Pieta with the prayer emote to try it out@@the-unstoppablee . While 2-handing you get the straight line shards special attack. With only the sword in one hand (no sword in other) you get the explosive special attack. However once a sword is in the other hand for dual-wielding the explosive special doesn't trigger. Which is a bummer because I prefer dual-wielding. Pity it isn't triggering for dual-wielding like the Lightreapers and some of the others. I wonder if there's another sword you can dual-wield it with to get both special attacks to trigger? Was wondering if perhaps I equipped another JC Corrupted sword in the other hand if both specials would trigger...2-handing and dual. Thing is I only have one JC Corrupted so I can't try it. Maybe if someone has two they can try.

@@the-unstoppablee Oh dude don’t feel bad for it. Nothing to be proud of either but it just shows you enjoy the game or enjoy completion which is fine. I say this because I’m 150 hours into the game with two different builds but now I’m thinking of getting one of my builds to lean into umbral. But seeing what is required and holy hell I gotta go left and right, spin, and then do a back flip to get there lol.

Damn as soon as I seen that pieta and dark pieta sword dude I was like fuck . So jelly

Tancreds special attacks are the most impressive out of the radiant weapons.

@NickNightingale931 you have to complete said quest or objectives in game that each weapon demands, max upgrade the weapon. Once all of that is done then press the buttons that trigger the multi hit attacks to use special attacks. These attacks do use soul flay charges.

Great video, thanks! The skills however seem so damned imbalanced, especially when compared to Lightreaper’s Swords. But even comparing them to the benefits of a plain Soul Rip makes them feel lackluster, considering the cost of using them. I can’t see myself using any of the others, aside for the memes.

Yeah, it's also not clear why they are so poorly implemented and why they didn't bother to add them to the game in the first place, only to add them to some also poorly thought out road map that this kind of game shouldn't have in the first place, i finished the game and can't really see how anything from the road map can justify another NG all on it's own, it's kinda weird CI does not seem to understand what this game is supposed to be...

@@tobias3770 Im talking about presentation mostly though, adding these weird ass effects from other bosses to the existing combo animations is super wierd and looks off, nearly every fromsoft game has spacial animations for any boss weapon, an unfair comparison but still relevent considering this is a big budget souls-like. lies of p nailed it really well though

I think the idea behind the Lightreaper's swords vs daggers is that the swords are overall much better outside of the special attack usage while the daggers have a much stronger special attack in exchange for being substantially weaker for normal combat. So if you run out of soul charges, the swords will still do some good work while the daggers need soul charges to do work in exchange for said soul charges being much stronger. In a long fight, the swords are better but for short fights using burst damage the daggers are better.

How to use these tools, what conditions are needed, why didn't I explain it in the video?

Ok. I already added a link which is a Megathread on Reddit that shows how to use these abilities as well as the requirements needed to unlock them. As title suggests, this is indeed how those abilities look like either single or dual wielding the weapons. Furthermore, the game keeps getting updates within short time intervals and while introducing some of the new boss weapon special abilities, other known abilities are also getting bugged or something. It is, I think, fairly early to tell exactly what needed to unlock or use these abilities other than showing them. It needs some time brother. Currently people are trying to unlock abilities even though the requirements are known but as I said some of them are bugged sometimes from update to update. Stay tuned 🎉

On a reddit post, they said that summon Stomund to the fight and beat Tancred. After that, in front of his stigma, do the Orion Vow of Protection a couple of times and there you go.

First, defeat Judge Cleric and get thorned charlice. And go to Pieta. Make Hallowed Sentinel Prayer in front her. Exhaust her dialogue. Judge sword +10 in your Main Hand, and Spear +10 in your Offhand. Do your move bro xd

Brother this is the latest update. Are you sure you are not missing anything? I did not do anything other than Dark Crusader Isaac questline. Also check that you are handling swords correctly. I mean left right hand issue

I am in ng+1 and i am pretty sure i have the dark crusader class unlocked as i have the deluxe edition and anyways did complete isaac's questline in the first gameplay. I have both the swords max upgraded.Pieta's and Elianne's combo is working fine but this is not.

No these are legit, first you have to +10 weapons, for some of the weapons you need to do side quests and after that the special attack is block button+ heavy attack
