Y e e tlejuice all of which make someone seem more physically attractive, in most cases, I think? Maybe not for everyone. But it’s amazing, in my experience, how you see someone not really your type and they appear just “regular” (can’t think of a better term - yours kind of gets it pretty well, actually) but then you hear them speak and are blown away by their maturity and/or intelligence, etc. and then they start appearing more _physically_ attractive . Crazy, but cool. Of course, for me, Lorde was a jaw-dropping knockout beauty the minute I saw her ... but I am attracted to her type of body/hair/etc. As you said, her intelligence and personality kind of make it moot. It’s hard to understand how anyone who heard her speak for awhile wouldn’t be impressed.

Why do you talking like album is already out when two songs are only thing that's released. And you're seriously question yourself why Green Light is the popular one? Green Light is bold, excitable, catchy, dancebale and overall commercial. Liability is a low-key ballad. Which do you think radio will play?

the reason why 'Pure heroine' was a masterpiece is b'coz no other artist ever wrote anything like Lorde.. I had never heard anyone sing about how it feels scary to get old (Ribs) or how the middle class teenagers from small cities n small towns don't have a lot of money but they dream about driving Cadillac n they are never going to be rich & 'royals' and how everyone has a bunch of pple who are close to U & u are always going to be on each other's 'team' no matter what.. and how new found fame could freak u out ('still sane') and being in front of pple is scary but u still learn to be brave n find ur own 'bravado' and u meet two faced pple in ur life n sometimes fake friends but u don't care coz u have at least one special person in ur life and u r going to dance with him all night in 'a world alone' It was something that we all have been through n we all have felt n yet no one ever wrote about it except Lorde.. other artists just write about love and heartbreaks.. it's something that we have heard from every single artist.. Green light & liability is good but we have heard pple sing about such things before.. it's great but not unique like 'Pure heroine'

Oh Lorde - my favourite kiwi right now. I loved Pure Heroine and am so looking forward to Melodrama. Ella, David Bowie would get goosebumps.

great interview. can we also please appreciate the fact that a radio host declared on radio that he does not like the format radio stations operate under? I like this guy.
