Andrew Hunt That I'd debate vociferously. There's plenty of fantasy films that shame The Hobbit movies. The book remains great as a children's story. If you want something truly awesome, read the Silmarilion. You shall then understand the entire history of Middle Earth and Ea.

+Zorin Wijnands sry to tell you that but Utumno isn't Udun at all... Utumno has been the first fortress of Melkor in the First Age. It wasn't placed in Mordor (where Udun is), but far in the North of Middleearth. It was sieged and destroyed in the first war between Valar, Elves and Melkor. The second fortress was Angband, placed in Beleriand. Beleriand doesn't exist anymore because it vanished into the high sea. In fact, "flame of Udun" is a translation mistake.

I think it is the small landscape between Gorgoroth and the Morannon. So far you're right, the black road passes through Udun.

This video is almost 10 years old and it still one of the best metal rendition of the LOTR soundtracks around, you have my respect man

Those Rohan & Pelenor Fields parts... Goosebumps. Actually, the whole thing did that.

It's pretty funny because the whole clip now looks like some 90's heavy metal music video without shots of the band through it every now and then.

Tolkien's The Silmarillion, a book of tales from the First Age of Middle-earth, recounting the War of the Jewels. The album contains not only songs but also spoken parts narrating parts of the story. The cover represents Lúthien dancing in front of Morgoth.

It's weird how Frodo gets more credit than Sam. Sam saved Frodo countless times. From Gollum, and that giant spider are good examples. And I dont even know if Frodo ever even killed anything.

Bliz When you think about it this way, Frodo did more work than anybody by resisting the dark power of the One Ring for so long. He may not have killed anything, but he was effectively carrying the weight of the world around his neck.

He forged the Ring, so that's probably why. In order to create and control an extremely powerful magical object, you need to be immune to the backlash. But, Gollum held the Ring for 500 years, and look what happened to him.

No. Because the empire is badass. But on another note, sauron is also badass, but less so than the empire. Actually the rebels in star wars aren't badass at all. The good guys in LOtR are badass. Sauron is badass but seeing an imperial stat destroyer fleet is more badass than looking at his ugly orks army. But saruman is badass. Jesus.

It's funny how people say that the hobbit movies aren't in the same league as the lotr movies but without the hobbit there is no LOTR because the hobbit movies are the prequel to the LOTR.

Holy crap, this is an amazing arrangement/rendition, and everyone who worked on it should be proud. So well done. Of all the "covers", genre versions of LOTR music, I enjoyed this the most.

Blue Bandit under movie circumstances yes Rohan is superior like Rambos and other Hollywood stuff. But if we took this universe into realistic conditions Uruks were superrior for their dedication and readyness for war. I think '' Bad or Evil side '' in movies should have win wars cause they were prepared so well. But endless miracles happens to '' Good side '' which is I dont know what decides who's good or evil. Both sides needs to defend their own existance and by doing that must vanish each other.

Ayberk Tiras Point taken. Uruks are bigger, stronger and faster. They have superior armour, weapons and a thrill for war. Rohan however are human. The thing about humans is they can be good, or evil. And when they good, as in truly good, they will fight with the furey of 1000 Uruks. Of coarse this may be my inner 12 year old who loved the good guys speaking, but hey ho.

No one does not simply play the guitar so good in the whole middle-earth. GREAT JOB !!!!!!!!

Dude this sounds like Turisas.. f'n badass. Howard Shore's score is one of the all time best in film and you did a great job translating it to metal and giving it an even more epic flavor. Very cool.
