Germany’s chart-topping LORD OF THE LOST announce the release of their new live album and DVD/BluRay, LIVE at W:O:A, out August 2, 2024, via Napalm Records! Featuring strong live versions of 16 original hits and two cover songs performed together with German 90s pop sensation Blümchen, LIVE at W:O:A was filmed and recorded during the band’s first-ever performance on the Wacken main stage, as “deadliners” after the iconic headliner Iron Maiden (with whom LORD OF THE LOST has shared the stage on two European tours). Tens of thousands of fans from all over the world celebrated in front of the stage late into the night with the band, which vocalist Chris Harms describes as “a dream come true”.
On the DVD version of LIVE at W:O:A, the particularly energetic and dynamic camera work emphasizes the extreme energy of a LORD OF THE LOST concert, as the band performs a balanced set full of surprises. Today, the band reveals a live version of “Drag Me To Hell”, a fan favorite that has over 2.2 million video views on the original version.

Wasn't expecting it given some of the big names in the rest of the festival lineup but this was hands down the best live performance I've ever seen. Stuck in mud halfway to my knees and couldn't have been happier 🤘

This is the best collab I've seen in a long time. Jasmine singing Marie Fredrikssons part of "The Look" with a band I had not heard about before I randomly ended up here. Now, I've got a lot of listening to do to learn more about Lot! Big thumbs up!

However she has an incredible voice, and it perfectly matches in this cover wirh chris' voice. I'm jealous of all the people who had the chance to witness this show live, sadly I could only join via magentatv but even there I had chills. I, personally, would rather have Blümchen playing her own set on a wacken stage than Mayhem being invited. Let's not have hate and narrow-mindedness dominate the metal/hard & dark music scene

Als man die Live-Übertragung gehört hat, war der Gesang von Blümchen doch um einiges schlechter als hier. Wie lange hat man daran nachträglich gearbeitet? :D

Klingt für mich - der Schluss bildet die Ausnahme - ziemlich ähnlich wie Blümchen ab Band von The Look. Natürlich ist es so einiges hörbarer, aber da geht das Live feeling mit all seinen Ecken und Kanten leider etwas verloren.
