Lord Herefords Knob - The Black Mountains - Hiking the Welsh 100 - Solo Hike
hello, and welcome to my new series hiking the Welsh 100. for those that don't know what the Welsh 100 is, it's Wales 100 highest peaks. in this video I am doing the lord Herefords knob circular which is situated in the Black mountains, which takes in 5 of the Welsh 100 peaks and 6 peaks in total.
I parked at Capel-y-ffin, Abergavenny NP7 7NP. there is very limited parking for 4 to 6 cars so get there early if you want a space.

Good going Matt - I know all them peaks. I have to agree a great view from Twmpa and into the interior of the Black off Pen Y Gadair to be fair. I have to disagree with your assessment of the Black Mountain. Although not much on the spot a little West and you can see into the interior of the Bluff-East and it's the Black Hill and the Olchon Valley - gotta go off piste for that to be fair. Thank you. It was a very long day! That's fair mate. Everyone has their opinions! But I didn't really like black mountain, I just felt there wasn't much there to show or speak of and i like a good view or an interesting summit and to me it had neither of them, and it was very boggy so going off piste wasn't really an option.
