Loosing jigs the fun way | super light jigging O’ahu |

Decided to turn some old clips into a video for your guys, didn’t bring the chest mount this day. Let me know what you think about this angle. The bite was hot, early on I was only finding small goats and ukus, hooking up on almost every drop. Then on our second drift the big guys came out to play. Unlucky for me I only brought my pe 1.5 setup out and was punished for it. The first fish I hooked swam in too big circles before talking me straight down and breaking me off. Lucky for me it only got me on the leader so I quickly retied and selected another jig. On the very next drop only a few flicks off the bottom I hook into another monster. Nearly spoiling me in about a minute and a half I decided to drive at the fish. Unfortunately the line has been through a rock. This time it got me on the braid, I tied probably one if the fastest fg’s on a 14’ panga with 3 other people in fairly high seas. A few drops later and finally I hook something a bit more manageable, nice little white papio to finish the day. It went just over 4lbs (4.04) hope you enjoyed the video, working hard to get more content out for you guys.
