You know your old school when you love those 12 inch versions way better than the regular versions. A time when some albums had only 6 songs on them and was any where between 6 to 10 minutes long and love just about every song aka The Time. I can't stand todays CD's where you have 20 songs that are about 3 minutes long and if your lucky you might like 2 songs. Songs these days as soon as you really start to get into it it's going off. Bring back those long versions...

Loose Ends is one group from my days in the Marine Corps that I can never forget. "Hangin On a String" was the first tune that I heard from this group. Then later came "Hold On" from their second album. They had the sound of the day, only they did it better. Then" Watching You" hit the airways. It's hard to understand why a group like Loose Ends never caught on outside of the urban seen. They got a lot of airplay on the urban stations. Especially this tune.

This exactly how I feel with today 21st century music. Anything under 6 minutes is not worth listening to. You just be getting in the groove mood and that's when it began to slowly goes back to nothingness. Boo on these young musicians coming up these days. To find great long playing music, I stick with the 12 inch albums. The best three rappers who made long playing songs are: Ice Cube, Eric B. & Rakim and Digital Underground. There's other.

Its that wicked BASS!!!
There's other.
this was the orginal version remix they first played back in the spring of 1988 Loose Ends Watching You Remix Album

OOPS! Wrong song! "I don't remember...") _You drank too much wine_ (But I was havin' so much fun, yea-yea) _Your secret phone calls_ (Just takin' care of business...) _Some things you can't hide..._ (I'll finish this later.)

The arrangement is too nice. Yeah I'm a musical nerd, but so what. I have an ear for great music. 😁😁😁

Yeah, you got good taste. I've been on a little Loose Ends binge lately, and I just worked out the main chords to this song on my keyboard.. Pretty sophisticated.. Back in the day, they took jazz and disguised it as catchy R and B tunes! I miss those days.
Okay 👍 old school
