At first- i am confused- LOONA has "legs" or "arms" ??? Let me know what you think in comments.
Loona, the PetBot, is a very cute but agile and careless robot :)
Too much fragile thing. Sometimes requires the intervention of a traumatologist and glue.

Mine sounds like the gear is stuck and won’t move, how do I fix it?

So sad. But first you have to privide an inspection inside the "leg". Maby the plastic part was broked and the mechanism is not in place. Or some plastic parts stuck in the gear. There is many reasons when the toy is so agile and fragile.
I hesitate to send mine in for repairs. Ive read that some people did and never got it back or a response

You are partyaly right. I wrote to Keyi robot for spec. of the brushed motor, send a video of broked plastic parts and... they decided to sent me a new, upgrated version of Loona. For free.
Mine the same problem one leg sounded like slipped gears! This would fix it?

By all means you have to look inside. Somethink is broked.
Do you know by any chance how to put back the big plastic gear ? Mine is lose but nothing broken

You should inspect it. If it loose on axis- best way is to glue it or drill a small hole through gear and axis and fix ir by small metal wire or something. But may be there is a loos on axis and small metalic gear.... soldering it will not be so tight. May be you order some exactly gear or all gear reduction on Aliexpress ...

@@wincas Thanks for the info, but I sold him for parts and never buy a chinese toy or gadget ever again. They are all turn out faulty and they never react on my mails.
Battery replacement possible?

Never tryed yet, but i am sure, that everything what was assembled by human may be disassembled too :)

You mean worked till brokes ? Other way - Loona works till today morning sure :)
expensive and fragile toy. hope in future Keytech will improve this...
