I have never ever made a hat! My husband has been begging me to make him one for YEARS..so I did today! Started and finished the hat in less than a day (mom of four kiddos too) and I’ve only ever crocheted one other thing. You are a great teacher, everything was crystal clear. Thank you so much!

I’m happy that I found this tutorial. I’m a 26 year old man who has never done anything like this but I’m interested in historical reenactment and I need to take a beanie with me on a trip to France. Reproduction ww2 hats can get expensive so I decided to make my own with a loom that my grandmother had. It turned out great because of this tutorial! Thank you!

This is amazingly simple! I have been struggling with a variety of patterns and did more ripping out than stitching. You made the instructions easy to understand and the demonstration was perfect. Thank you! The hats I'm making are for cancer patients and these will be so soft and comfy to wear.

I was wearing this cute hand-made knit cap (made by my great aunt) today, and wehn my sister complimented it, i jokingly told her that I made it (since I started crocheting and knitting last year). Out of all tutorials I've watched this one was the most easiest and understandable one yet. I'm moving and kept my crochet stuff with me bc my mom showed me the looks she had and gave me a hat she made when she was fifteen ( I kept them instead of packing them so that I had something to do if I got bored). She forgot how to use them and I had no idea how to use them so I looked it up to find you which looked the most promising (lol) and turns out it was. Ty so so much! You really helped me and now I am making hats as my hobby!
