I met dale about 10 years ago while he was just selling k parts dude was super cool and the car was super clean even back then. Shame to seem him part ways with it. Someone will def be getting an amazing shell.

I'm pretty sure I've watched HOURS of Honda transmission videos. This 16 minutes right here is where I've learned the most BY FAR! 🤯

Usually U can get a rebuilt tranny for around $850 from a shop if u give them your core

Have you looked at speed factory that make a few nice parts to strengthen the trans, detent spring, shift selector etc

RHD_ Antonio at the power that the car is at right now. OEM gears won’t last long. Buying a used transmission won’t be an option, it’s best to rebuild what I have.

How much for the shell?

dont get me wrong i love repair video but when you guys dont mention prices and cost of work done kinda makes the video feel incomplete

Thanks, nice vid! Looks to be a pretty simple trans, nothing special to disassemble it & shift forks position is fixed, except those bearings in blind holes there's nothing to it, 1 shim, HA! Painting a trans or aluminum, WTF is wrong with you!

I hope he works on other car brand manuals. And not just Honda.....
