Candle making hack for you! If you put the wick through a drinking straw, it makes it easy to handle and place in your container. You can also put a small dab of hot glue or melted wax on the bottom i=of the wick (metal part) before placing it.

Great idea for a Country themed wedding

I absolutely love them!! I've not been on here this week due to a hospital stay. Sunday, I knew I was leaving this world, my vision, my breathing was was labored and after I got to the ER, my sodium levels were dangerously low. I prayed and I asked God to please keep me here a while longer, since my son lost his Dad last Aug. I have bilateral pneumonia, low sodium levels and my lungs were too full of water. I drank too much of it, apparently and I've been cutting back. God always answers prayers and sometimes He answers them in a very big way! God Bless you and your family this Easter 💐

I agree Diana. I have made the mistake of rushing my candles in the melting process with the proverbial sink hole showing up. Now I know what I have been doing wrong.

You don't get sink holes from melting at too hot a temp. That happens when they cool too quickly and unevenly. I make candles as a side business and know all too well how that happens.

Are you not aware that reading the comments is optional?! Also...Kelly is being kind enough to tell her subscribers what she uses and has no ill intentions. YES! If there's no toxic off gassing from the chemicals in the candles..I'm trying to get an answer if she knows for sure that they are safe

Dollar general has the bottles or jars in wooden carrier like the ones you showed at decent price. From a candle maker, you gave great info on how to melt wax. Love how the letters make the wooden box pop!

Love this! Also, just so you know how you have inspired my thinking, since I work at Walmart I see alot of different things. Last night I saw a flower arrangement in a frosted bottle with twine around the neck and a twine ribbon. I looked at it and said 'I can make that! Take some twine, hot glue it to the neck and add a twine bow. I can make that for less than $10.00! ' Thanks Lisa for your inspiration.

@@staceycoleman4531 never a good idea to mix flammables with fabrics. Especially fabric it "silk" flowers. The are saturated in chemicals not only a fire hazard but when heated they emit gasses( combined with the abundance of essential oils already diffusing) that may cause anything from skin irritation respitory discomfort headaches rashes and such

Cut cork tops and fill with pasta or beans? Put change in them. Maybe a label on the front? Vases? Paint them and place a letter on each one to spell a word and put greens or flowers in them? Make a ship in a bottle with them!
