I've seen Joe play at RWW in Nashville and he's not only a great musician but a terrific performer. Makes it look easy and has fun doing it. That's a lesson in itself.

What great playing! I love Joe’s deep knowledge of all eras of bass playing-jazz, country, bluegrass. Incredible playing and breakdown of “Dinah” from Steve Brown…one of the New Orleans bass pioneers!

Props for masterclass technique and skills but I dont like much sound of the double bass on this technique. Its sounds like You Play on double bass from cardboard or You just lower normal acoustic guitar tone octave. There is no power on low tones. Its sound like electric bas guitar without electricity. This technique make double bass sound more like drums not actual low tune instrument.
