It sucks i got diagnosed in 2018 when i was 25 now im 29 due to alcohol abuse i would pretty much drink everyday before i got diagnosed witch caused me to get it, it isnt curible unfortunately but u can avoid getting flare ups just balance the drinking dont drink alcohol everyday excercise and eat healthy... I feel great havent had a single flare up this summer
Is it incurable?Can we avoid it with medications and lifestyle management.

Unfortunately it is incurable. The only way is to chose a healthy lifestyle, completely avoid certain food and reduce very much the intake of alcohol.
