As an adult, I dont go into horror looking to be “terrified” anymore, it’s just not gonna happen like it did when we were kids. Lately I have learned to reframe my metrics into “unsettled” or “upset” or “how much does this movie linger in my mind after watching” when I assess horror/thrillers.

Glad to see this movie worked for you, dude! It definitely gets points for atmosphere, cinematography, and performances. Unfortauntely the third act of the film really lost me with what seemed like a rushed and shock value ridden supernatural conclusion. Cage continues to knock it out of the park though. Great review!

Another Osgood film, it is so slow, it is a movie you watch at night, alone. I Am The Pretty Thing That Lives In The House. The film haunted me for months, maybe just because of what I was going through in life at the time. Still think about it often.
So boring I almost slept off in the theatre
This film IS keeping me up at night because of how shit it is. Terrible movie.

@@EverythingLowery I was just like all of you in believing all the review hype and watching all the "scary" cryptic trailers. Saw it last night, and once again felt bamboozled for paying good money and taking the time and effort to see a movie in the theater. This was a big steamy turd. Good cinematography, the only positive thing I have to say for Perkins on this. Poor construct, poor pacing, BAD dialogue, scenes/actions that made absolutely no practical sense. Nic Cage doing Nic Cage cringy acting but in "serial killer" form. It was bad, and then he (she?) started talking, even worse. This will be on a streaming service for $4.99 in no time. When the ACTUAL and HONEST reviews of people that truly saw this movie start flooding in you will see these scores take a dive. Avoid at all costs. Hail Satan. Bang a Gong.

If you're into horror thrillers then I would definitely recommend a trip to the cinema for this
BIG TIME over hyped, Longlegs is good but not worth the hype it’s getting.

Nicolas Cage plays Buffalo Bill a killer who wants to be a woman because of his childhood.he dresses like a woman just like the directors Dad for psycho and you bring Clarice from silence of the lambs you put the same vignette over it like seven and there’s the movie.
It’s easy to say it’s the best when there’s only one. Oh it has the best marketing. OK well yeah it has nine trailers alien come out next month and we only have one trailer. This is fluff.
