Didn't really say what you eat in one meal a day on average. I eat 1 or 2 meals a day and can say exactly what I eat most the time very easily. Eggs, kefir, kimchi, avocado, walnut, pistachio, Brazil nut, flax chia seeds, steak, ground beef grass fed, salmon, shrimp, muscles, scallops and a massive salad everyday!

So many of you indicated he didn’t give you information but clearly you weren’t listening because he did tell you! First of all if you all were listening he said according to research, it’s not so much about what you eat but how you eat and for how long during the day. Secondly, he specifically said greens, pressure cooked beans, nuts. More importantly - read the books! They are worth reading. If you are too impatient to do these things then you will remain a straggler in the pursuit of better eating and heath!

I am so glad I am watching this video. I used to do OMAD many many years ago before it was vogue. I was always skinny and that was a way of staying that way. Today I tried to do OMAD and everyone told me it was dangerous as I have a slow thyroid. I enjoy OMAD I prefer to eat my one meal at 4:00 PM... I think I will try to do it again. I never really found it hard. I can't wait for your books to come, thanks for another informative video...

I am excited that more and more physicians are moving to a balanced approach and less to the dictates of pharmacology. Your comment about Africa and where we all came from are disturbing. Once again, our creator not being acknowledged. I am believing for you to have a Rhema experience. You have a marvelous call on your life. Having written this, God has absolutely raised you up for such a time as this. I am so fortune to be benefiting from your journey!

Hi doc, just got your new book, the plant paradox, after reading the first 4 chapters, I didn't want to eat anything, fearing it was full of roundup, or something similar. I have been on a keto diet for maybe a year. My weight has platued, so I think this will help. At 68 years old, starting to get some arthritis in the fingers, again hopefully this new diet will help. I intend to do the 3 day cleanse, then straight on to level 2. I'll keep you updated, from new zealand. As it's winter down here. Maybe doing omd is an option. Keep up the good work. Thanks.

@@oliviabaklaton4552 When you say "strict keto = no carbs," do you mean carnivore? Strict keto is 50 gm or less, not zero carbs. Even "ketovore" is 20gm or less. And a diet that is 70% or more animal foods is also called "hyper carnivore." But I was going to recommend a carnivore-type diet anyway bcz I have read many comments on carnivore blog sites claiming it cured their psoriasis, and esp if they went on Dr. Berry's "BBB&E" diet protocol (beef, bacon, butter & eggs). OTOH, no dairy or nuts also seemed to be a common factor. But at a minimum, in addition, I would at least eliminate all the foods high in lectins, oxylates or histamines. That will eliminate most of your plant foods anyway!

I have a couple of questions about MCT’s in goat milk. 1. Are the MCT’s altered or destroyed during the pasteurization process? 2. Are the MCT’s altered or destroyed when goats milk is used to make yogurt or cheese? Also, in an interview you gave on “The Genius Life” channel you mentioned that cows milk doesn’t contain MCT’s. Is that true for cows or only produce the A2 protein? I’ve been drinking milk from a dairy that only produces A2 milk and was wondering if switching to goat milk would be better?

Im not sure if i understood correctly but will listen again, if he meant food from the season, or if he meant that he changed his way of eating during winter, spring etc. You know my brother in law fasted during Ramadhan, fasting month for muslims, he said he did not feel weak, fatigued or hungry when he had a keto diet at the same time as fasting. Lots of healthy fats + proteins keeps that craving for carbs or sugar away. He also lost about 30 kg within a cpl of months, he has had weight problems all life, and he said the Keto diet has only worked for him and fasting half days/full days O.M.A.D once in a while to regulate weight , but his back pain is also better because of the weight gone now :)

Question Dr G!! My wife and I are following your plan in Unlocking the Keto Code and compressing out eating window to allow for an 18 hour fast (from End of eating dinner to the beginning of eating lunch the following day). I have a tummy and have always had trouble losing weight. I’ve lost some doing this, but I noticed that maybe because I’m taking MCT oil with my coffee, that maybe the body is using that instead of burning its own fat?? Also, I get detoxing reactions (eyes burn, bloodshot eyes, fatigue, irritability and others) not just in the morning when fasting but even in the afternoon and evening times. I have taken to having charcoal and chlorella a couple times a day, thinking I might be releasing heavy metals and others from my fat stores. Am I doing this right? Any suggestions??

Hard to do when you have to take meds at different times of the day and the instructions say take with food. I do eat nuts {brazil, walnut, almond and pecan} but don't find I get a feeling of fullness from them like I would with something like mashed potatoes but I eat them anyway for the nutrients. Also can't eat too many greens with warfarin.

I think that OMAD is not good for people who are already skinny. How will we get enough calories to maintain our already thin frame on one meal a day?

Dr. Gundry my daughter got covid in November 2021. Her taste and smell has been altered. Things taste spoiled or like metal. Meats, onion, and garlic are the worst. Is there anything that she can do to reset her taste buds?

even moreso! Drop sugars and grains and manufactured food products, but if you are taking any blood-sugar contolling meds, you simply must be under a doctors supervision, monitor sugars and adjust meds,

Thats what I was saying, how can you have one meal a day anyway and take 120 supplements...the non water soluble have to be taken with food, plus youd feel ill with all those supplements...tough on the digestion...I notice it with all the ones I take, and its only about 5 or 6...

I've studied what the Indians ate and they consumed game meat, fowl, fish, corn, bread, roots and tubers and berries during winter. They knew how to store food over winter. They were opportunistic hunters who took game at every chance.

Here’s a thought...After each major-extinction one would assume most the only that survive are semi-poisonous lectin foods. & after each extinction, PEOPLE WOULD BE FORCED to reduce their previous-diet TO NOW pick out of the meager pickings of surviving (high-lectin aka semi-poisonous) plants! Imagine all the easy to digest superfoods that have have lost over the eons...due to extinction-events
