Out of all the doctors I listen to online, Joel Furhman has the most solid nutritional advice. When we eat dinner, one of us usually says, "Dr. Furhman would be proud of us." I have lost 40 pounds and am keeping it off because our eating has become our lifestyle. I learned how to eat from Dr. Furhman.
Whau wonderfull very inspiring - all the practical good advice of how to eat a nutritarian diet and the love story of your Old mother improving her Health when she was 93 years old 🙏🍀💚😊
He is such a badass, only a few at his level. constantly ice-breaking and pioneering where others are scared to go.

Sir longevity madisine why not worldwide madisine
Chef AJ and Dr. Joel Fuhrman are a dynamic duo in good health!
Breath of fresh air! I truly appreciate the honesty. I could listen to Dr Fuhrman for hours! He is right on. 💯 Thank you - you both are lovely. I agree - I absolutely love our food. I’d take a Japanese sweet potato with avocado, lemon, brussels and chickpeas any day over pizza or greasy burgers.. I literally can’t wait to pop out bed for my banana berry oatmeal each morning too 😋 Our bodies are incredible. Food is life 🙌🏻
One of my favorite Doctors! Thanks Chef AJ for bringing Dr. Furhman to us.
My fav 🌱💪🏼doctor!❤Been following his protocol for awhile. My mother worked for the American Cancer Society in the late sixties and called it the Great American Fear Society 🤔 I’m 66 and start my day with 50-100 push-ups before several other workouts. I eat an organic unprocessed WFPB diet and I don’t go to doctors! 🌱💪🏼for decades!
He is one of the biggest reasons I became vegan. I found a way that I could eat correctly and not have to worry about weight or health. The other thing that helped me was finding someone wonderful named Dixie. She got me really deeper into how to live the life and how to do the Whole Food Plant Based lifestyle and make it work.
I did one of those programs, didn’t help me with my food addiction and I always got frustrated because of the “allowed” proteins, as Chef AJ says we are outliers and finding plant based eating several years ago was helpful BUT I didn’t really deal with my food addiction because of social pressure, finding ETL and being told my arteries are starting to harden, makes me grateful to be an outlier!! Have a great day everyone and keep at it one day at a time!
I love Dr. Fuhrman!! I love being a Nutritarian Vegan! G-BOMBS!! 🥬🫘🧅🍄🫐🌰
Generally, I get concerned when doctors discourage all medical screening and medications considering that some of us are in less than perfect health. BUT when Dr. Fuhrman says it, my reaction is tempered by my tremendous respect for his knowledge and wisdom. I completely agree that we should question the medical paradigm and that what he's doing is much more productive. I appreciate that he, for one, does not require medical interventions as he's been doing his own program for many, many years. It's definitely an ideal way to live, but at 70, having lived a less than pristine life, I need to keep one foot in mainstream medicine, at least for screening. But for nutritional direction, he's my man.

I agree…with the emphasis on no medical intervention…but we do at our age (73) and just going on a WFPB lifestyle…and no looking back! I still am proactive on my bloodwork as I have hemochromatosis & degenerative disk disease & Afib.
You know after Dr. Fuhrman commented on the processed food.. vegan pizza & ice cream. They changed the menu the next year! They hired someone who cooked & provided a lentil/bean/ grain home cooked meal
I am a great admirer of the message of dr Fuhrman - its truly a learning process filled wirh knowledge, New ways of true healthy Living. Its filled wirh beauty, joy and love.🌷❤️
‘Feeling worse means getting better and feeling better means getting worse!’ Dr Fuhrman’s best quote. This kept me going when I felt miserable‘I feel bad but my body is getting better’ for 3-4 days
This was amazing information! Joel Fuhrman is the best of all plant based experts
Thank you for having him...He is truly the best, most knowledgeable, intelligent, and able to explain in layman terms. He is a blessing to those who discover his work and learn from him!
Dr. Fuhrman is my favorite. I found Eat to Live 10 years ago. It totally transformed my life. I have read all the plant based docs since then- but Dr. Fuhrman’s message is still 100% excellent. Thank you for putting him on the show!
I've been waiting for years for a doctor to talk about this. I am so happy I watched this 3 times now.
Thanks chef AJ for encouraging a lot of us to continue eating for longevity through healthy plant base eating. Through your platform I have learned a lot about nutrition and really how to eat clean . May u continue to be blessed . We love and appreciate u more than u will ever know . Be bless 🙏💕❤️
He got me with the link between gardening and longevity.

This was fantastic….best interview I’ve seen yet with Dr. Fuhrman.
What a gift he is for those who wants the truth of why we get sick and how the body responds in order to undo the damage … , The clarity in how he explains the body’s language & function of cause and effect makes so sense. Thank you for this gift !
50:03 thats why im such an advocate for such a high degree of radical nutritional excellence

Thank you both!❤
I learn every time I listen to Dr. Fuhrman!
I wish I could see everything he eats for two weeks.
Yay! Thanks Chef AJ and Dr.Furhman ❤❤❤❤
So good!! Love how and what Dr. Furman shares!! 🌱
Thank you, Chef AJ, I love it when you have knowledge filled doctors on teaching.
yes not your typical Dr.
Gosh so many things said in here that were so clear and no one else says them! Crazy! He’s a valuable voice !
Dr. Fuhrman is right, treat the cause. My friend went to a doctor with a sinus infection & they told him it has nothing to do with the food he eats. It's the trees, flowers & grass. Lol He told me he eats lots of white flour products & drinks plant based milks. They all turn to paste & mucus in the body. I hope he's slowly getting it. He's a baby vegan under my influence! Lol
Dr. Fuhrman is the one that Is Remarkable
Chef AJ, I cannot understand why I am only just RECEIVING this, its 4 weeks old, Love your Pods, great guests... ❤ from London UK.
Dr. Fuhrman is a rebel like Dr.McDougall! love that! Love him calling out bad crusty food @ a conference.
The emotional after effect is real. I have been WFPB for 7 years but still recall my mother’s meat meals with great affection & occasional longing. I know perfectly well how bad those meals were now, I understand how ill I would feel if I ate them but I enjoyed them so much. All part of my food addiction being established so I must keep away from them.

Absolutely wonderful!!! Thank you!!
Wonderful person, thank you so much for amazing interview. Dr Fuhrman changed my life 😊 big fan of his books
Bravo another super great show ! I love you Chef AJ abd all your guests ! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
A thought about orthorexia: I think it’s a real thing. I also think Dr. Fuhrman, Chef AJ and some other wise leaders offer a brilliant way to help manage it. The abstinence approach could help. Rather than the anxiety that comes with the idea of one foot in, one foot out (moderation) that Dr. Fuhrman has talked about. Thanks! Love!
Transitioning is complicated, good info.
Hello Chef AJ and Doctor, Q: Regarding Calcium Oxalate Kidney Stone’s … Ive found it reallllly difficult to become vegan, I tried for approximately 5-8 months then I had a heart attack. I’m not against Vegan by all means; How can I work around this ? I love so many veggies I’m so limited on so many fruits and vegetables i can eat I don’t know anymore
Good vision you've mentioned to life saving way by doing away with toxin in our body. In others words we need to understand how our body functions from there Nutrition must be considered most.
The Top G
Thank you for this Chef AJ. Absolutely loved the link to the video of the skating.
Glad to hear Dr Furhman have a good laugh about orthorexia, it is so ridiculous 🤣

Another excellent video Chef Aj 😙.
Even eating around 700 - 800 cal of whole foods per day (1TBSP flax as only seeds) I still can't lose 2 pounds a week - (probably due to insufficient muscle mass/low basal metabolism) I have started to lose more hair though so I'm hesitatnt to stay that low - but there's no guarantee of 2 pounds per week even eating the right foods (I averaged about a pound a week for the past 5 months)

I need a Dr. Fuhrman vet for my cat! I live in the Los Angeles area and there has to be a true naturopathic that will work with my cat that has asthma. Can anyone refer me to a naturopathic vet in the LA or Orange County area? Thank you
I went vegan for the animals in 2006. It is thanks to Dr. Fuhrman that I am now *thriving* as a vegan and able to live according to my values of non-violence and compassion. Thank you, Dr. Fuhrman!
I have anorexia and ohrtorexia 😢!!!!!!
AJ!!! Buddhist can eat as medicine!!!!

It IS known worldwide, but most of us choose the dark side: processed food & pills for our ills, thinking our doctor is doing the best for us. Add to that, pharmaceutical companies are not happy when we go nutratarian - it means they will make no money out of us being well/cured.

Why do the Healthie Emmie program? Because of what Dr Fuhrman says between minutes 19:07 and 26:38. Sometimes, to transition to a healthy body, you need someone to hold your hand to help you on the journey. Healthy Emmie's team and their process will get you there. Dr Fuhrman, Dr. McDougall, and others on Chef AJ show speak the truth, but for me, I needed the Healthy Emmie School to learn their lessons and implement the WBPB into my daily life. I haven't listened to this entire broadcast; I'm only at 26:50 minutes but I needed to stop the video and say "Dr Fuhrman, you're speaking the truth." BTW, I've lost 47 pounds in the Healthie Emmie program in 4.5 months and I'm in the same age range as Chef AJ. I got a long ways to go to be at a healthy weight. However, for this moment I'm happy to eat a WBPB meal when I'm hungry and to eat until I'm not hungry anymore.
This guy was has some good ideas and his book Eat To Live is incredible. But some of his views and comments now are dangerous. I prefer Dr Esselstyn, Dr Barnard and Dr Campbell. I’m happily plant based and extreme SOFAS free, but this guy needs to talk a bit less.
Best foods for eyes can you ask dr Joe furnham next time he is on your great show !
