She is 100% fit if some director make a reboot of "Silence of the Lambs".
It's absolutely bonkers that the character is like 7 months pregnant and is still allowed to be out in the field. Seems highly improbable and a huge liability issue for the police department.

It obviously wouldn’t happen in real life. But that’s the thing this is a tv show it’s never gonna be 100% like real life because then it would be boring. It’s a drama not a documentary so there will be intense dramatic scenes.

Because only a special branch of police officers carry in the UK. British Law Enforcement operates on the notion of "policing by consent" and relies on cooperation from the public to do their jobs and to respect their authority. Guns often only make things worse (see USA).

@@canalzinha True but as someone who's had interactions with the police on both sides of the pond, I've found that coppers in the US tend to automatically treat you like a potential threat and like to exert their authority over you. Their demeanor, while not hostile, isn't overly friendly either. In the UK, the police talk to us, get on our level to understand what's going on, don't intimidate etc. If you treat someone decently, they'll often be decent back. If you treat them like a threat, they'll often become defensive.
