My main hunting rifle is a Tikka in 260 Remmi. Nothing travels more than about 10 yards after being hit....if it travels at all. Love the gun and love the caliber. Thanks for the vids

Glad your back doing some 260 rips'ing, protecting the lambs from big bad Charlie. 260 rips is one of my absolute favorite channels.! Happy to see this new scope even though I think your NF was awesome. How would you compare Element scope to NF? Plus minus. Not seen anything from foxbox in a while,, still operational? The element nexus is a better scope than my old nxs 👍 The fox box is in need of some repairs so will add that to my to do list and hopefully get some more footage from it before too long! Keep an eye out on them shooting show’ I also do videos for them 👍

Great show as always. What type of bullets are you using for long range foxing? I’m using .243 hornady 75 grain V-max at the moment, but not sure they would be much good past 400 yards?

I think they're called 'scrapes' - when they leave scat they scrape the earth with their hind legs

In Aus, they normally find an exposed rock to show off their handy work to those passing by. Not sure about scrapings

He did indeed and yes the nexus is Japanese glass same as the Nightforce atacr with I believe 98% light transmission so pretty impressive!

@@260rips ok ta for that , i am in australia now but when i lived in the UK as a kid ( middlesbrough ) i bought my first catapult an aluminium one from the local hobby shop might of even been when we lived in stevenage not sure would of been in the early 60s i seem to remember they were about 2 and 6 pence and dad who was an engineer kept me supplied in ball bearings.

What load are you using ? I have just purchased a zastava M70 6.5 sweed and am looking to set it up for 90-100gr projectile weights .

Yes I have, it’s not a bad little unit and comparable to the wraith although I feel the wraith is overall the better purchase 👍

The long range shots are filmed on a Panasonic hc-v510 and the through the scope footage is done with a Pard 007 👍

@@260rips ok ta for that , i am in australia now but when i lived in the UK as a kid ( middlesbrough ) i bought my first catapult an aluminium one from the local hobby shop might of even been when we lived in stevenage not sure would of been in the early 60s i seem to remember they were about 2 and 6 pence and dad who was an engineer kept me supplied in ball bearings.

I’ve recently changed from a Nightforce to an Element nexus scope. Some of my older videos have some through the scope footage on them 👍

I’ve not used a vortex but have played around with demo units and they look pretty good. The element I’ve found to be as good or better than my Nightforce nxs

I shoot groundhogs out to 400 yards but a rabbit is impressive at 600+ they’re only about half the size too. Nice shooting

It’s a custom 260 rem and a set up like this rifle alone (no scope, moderator or bipod) would probably cost around £2500
