love watching your long-range vids especially when you say how many clicks you add for elevation and windage. managed to get my first long-range crow last weekend of 450 yards, i was well happy with that, it was my furthest range to date.

When I picked off a crow in my father's vegetable garden a few years ago, the strange thing was that the other crows stayed well away from that garden for the remained of the season,.. the crows you 'dropped' seemed to have a lot of buddies that seemed to care! Possible reason for that might be that 'my crows' were a lot smarter than those in 'your' field...LOL That was good shooting and good to watch too. Thanks for this.

In Australia, my mate told me that crows were too smart to shoot. As an experiment he went outside with a broomstick and about three crows just sat in a tree watching us. He went inside and came out with a rifle and they flew off straight away.

Great vid again - yes crows are very clever - I think they now even the care when you are driving to the location again after a successful shooting!

For the long range stuff I’m using a nightforce nxs 5.5-22x50

This is easily the most impressive rifle shooting I've seen. Respect.

VERY good shooting 💪 I wish that you could do a review on how you do your reloading and what method you use to come up whit what powdercharge and OAL ? With method I mean like ..., OCW-method , 10round-method... , or just incremental load until reach the best grouping ... A video on that pleas ! All the 6.5 cals are good for lr 260 is a good one as is creedmoor and 6.5x55 all very similar

Just out of interest Mark, what magnification do you prefer on targets like those crows...? I've hit crows and pigeons out to 400 on only 8X, but that was because I didn't really have much confidence in hitting the target...! On longer range targets obviously I'll put the mag up, firing at 2in clays etc.

The drops are the same regardless of wind, windage itself is just a bit of practice 👍

Would love to see the scope cam view of those crows.. maybe a video for the future! Great shooting

As always such impressive long range shooting. Those crows were particularly stupid. As my father used to say they made a very bad mistake.

I’m using a custom 260 rem with handloaded 143 grain eld-x bullets

Great to see a few vids popping up Mark, do you always use your kestrel or do you ever use ballistic apps? You always seem pretty bang on with adjustments but the kestrel isn't cheap.👍👍 keep up the good work.

Yep always the kestrel for this kind of stuff I use the old nv4500 Horus which works well enough
