Bro same. I started skating ~2008 but everything about this video from the clothes, to the shoes, to the video quality, to the board size/shape brought me right back to being 14 and hanging out with friends skating. Good times.

The feels. I'm getting a knot in my throat just thinking about '04 now. That's when I got my first board. I remember never really having many friends until I started skating. I just did it because of video games. I didn't know at the time there was an entire community of very cool people that skated. Changed my life forever.

@@holliswilliams8426 I work as a commercial painter, skate after work, and on any days off. Have had to work with heavily rolled ankles multiple times. Any reason to quit skateboarding is just an excuse.

These old videos are so much better than the modern ones, even though it was only 7 years ago its kinda retro :)

I always loved skating parking garages. I'm from the Midwest so December-April is pretty horrid for skating out doors. Loved frying down different leveled ramps and hitting the ledges so fast, learned how to board slide and 50-50 that way

I was only a baby when you recorded this but god, now I miss 2004.

When my son was about 11 years old he entered a Jaycee Relay Race. He’d never ran track before and didn’t know everybody wore shorts. He came in jeans, to everyone’s amusement. He ran the last leg for his team - and came away the fastest runner of the day, and made up considerable distance to win. This video made me think of that day. How I wish I had been able to see it, instead of only hear and read about it. I was a single mom and had to work. My son was an amazing athlete. ❤️
