As someone who lives in South Africa and works in nature conservation, the way people say eland, hartebeest, wildebeest, etc is always hilarious to me (nothing will ever beat the way people pronounce nyala though 🤣). But I'm glad so many of our hoofstock are getting recognised, especially the rarer ones like the Lichtenstein which I've only seen in the wild twice.

@Swans Eland isn't really said with the "land" pronunciation, the and sound is closer to und, like in under. The thing with hartebeest, wildebeest, etc is the beest part, if any of us who are local pronounce it like beast it's because we're joking. It's pronounced closer to beers, just with a much shorter r sound, the t isn't truly said at all. Harte is pronounced heart, so that's easy. Wilde is vild-eh, or vild-ugh, tiny difference that just depends on accent, so either is fine. Nyala is a bit difficult to explain, people say nigh-yeah-la, so the beginning bit is where people slip up. The n is just a regular long n sound, then the yala is kind of like the name Jahla? So its like yar-la if that makes sense, just without the r sound once again. So n-ya-la. I hope this all makes sense, it's a bit difficult to find english sounds that match our native ones since so many of these sounds and names come from a mix of about a dozen different languages that aren't really spoken much anywhere else in the world.

Here in Brazil we can call wildebeests "Gnu" with a hard G, I guess it's also an african word. Nyalas are called "Inhala" (eenyala)

I really wasnt sure how domestic horses would look ingame but it turned out great, they were my favorites from this showcase along with liger and the ✨SHINY✨ ross seal. I propadly should reguest mod ideas/commisions on discord or something but... Is it possible to replace one of the pz rides like the roller coaster model into mine cart thingy? (Or even better, not replace anything) It would be sooo cool with planet zoo plus, just imagine the ride maneuvering amongst stalacites🤤 Also theres this unigue bug called golden tortoise beetle, you could make it into prop mod.

Hi. These mods seemed to be pretty good. Well, I must admit your horse mod is impressive and I didn't think the Painted Stork can be added in, but if we contact Frontier with the lists I''ve suggested as well as your suggestive mods, it is possible. Also, the heartebeest really is pretty good, though I think the Topi can work as well as they are similar species. And speaking of mods, I do wonder if there can be other mods based on the film called "Jumanji (1995)." As i am curious of such mods like a Jumanji Lion, a Jumanji Rhinoceros, a Jumanji Elephant, a Jumanji Monkey, a Jumanji Crocodile, a Jumanji Pelican, or even a Jumanji Spider.

The only downside of animal mods for me is that modders can't give them custom sounds, so they're just silent. It's even worse when they make the original animal's sounds.
