If you knock them too hard, the flat earth might tilt and they’ll all fall off.

The stop motion at the end probably took you for ever to make. Thanks Mr Tools I appreciate your hard work.
I'd like to see a review of the weeder. I'm wondering how it'd do to clear weeds between rows of crops, versus the cultivator head.
Man, remind me not to hire the Makita sander guy to finish my drywall 😂

Not to take away from the joint compound looking like I did it and the guy using the sander like a manual sanding block: the stirrup hoe attachment being demonstrated as a bed redefiner, edger and cultivator instead of as a stirrup hoe was pretty impressive as well.
still no update on the modular tool storage system?
Love the mini solar system and message you giving!

The new cxt 5.ah looks very compact. Nice job makita. Been waiting ages for a higher capacity battery

There is official Makita 16,75Ah 10,8v power supply , DEABL 1055B.
Although not certain, I think the "IPx4" is mostly because the dust IP-rate isn't as relevant when you're already splash resistant to water. As in if it can handle the water, it can handle some dust aswell?
That welder might actually be fairly handy here in the PNW of the US. We’ve got some weeds and weedy grass that takes over garden space very quickly, and this would be useful over stepping up to the Honda minitiller. 🤷♂️
love your content, greetings from the Czech Republic😊
This afternoon, my 18v Makita impact driver tried to suicide itself by take a tumble down the roof onto 25mPa concrete, about 8meters of free fall. I tough i was due for a 40v upgrade as i watched it falling.... But it failed miserably at killing itself and still works perfectly fine!!!! I guess the upgrade is going to have to wait and the 40v router will be mine next month!!!
Nothing about an AC adaptor for the sanders? If they come out with one I might be tempted to get it, otherwise I'm getting either a corded Flex(already have the 3mm stroke) or the Festool. The CXT 5ah looks amazing! Have tried a google search and not much comes up. How the hell are they getting 5ah from 3 cells? Or is it a pouch cell pack? Definitely stoked for the upcoming review. Great stuff as usual.
13:30 nice job with this 😮
Your comments about the new XGT router leave me with a little hope that that sexy looking clear base on the Season 2 LXT Router might be compatible with my DRT50.
Great reviews
not much said about that new cxt battery. does it fit everything? where did you get yours? why is it so much smaller than the 4ah cxt
Any news on a 40v xgt 225mm/9" concrete saw?

I'm a skeleton waiting for a decent table saw
I assume you know about the new update for Hikoki stuff, even more coming out 👌🏻, new nailer end of the year the paslode killer. It’s pegged to be the same weight as the paslode 👌🏻
I'll be curious to see comparisons of the new XGT 1/2" router and Milwaukee's M18 1/2 in router. Yeah, the XGT will probably be more powerful, but I'd guess that the Milwaukee is powerful enough for a router. I was thinking about buying the big milwaukee 1/2 in router, but I haven't had to do a job recently that I couldn't somehow get done with my smaller M18 trim router. I might wait to see if the XGT might be better. I personally care about the precision + adjustability and ergonomics more than power since I'm guessing both will be powerful-enough for what I'd use them for. While I like Makita's AWS, the actual dust collection port and dust shroud on that router doesn't look as good as the dust collection on Milwaukee's M18 routers, but I'll wait to see actual reviews before I make a final judgement. cheers from the USA.
I had the Makita 18v 1/4" router and was very disappointed with it. There was too much slop in the plunge rails. The plunge depth adjustment was terrible along with the micro adjust. The handles are not very ergonomic. The design of the DeWalt 1/4" cordless router is far superior.
Hi T&S I'd like to see you review the weed cultivator tool if possible? I think something like that would be very useful and better for the environment, rather than using cancerous weed killers. Could save some back breaking work and nimble enough to get between trees and shrubbery etc.
I WISH they also made an xgt bandsaw 3 3/8 inch mid size
Please please please Makita if you release the 1/2 inch router and the 12 mm router let the european and US/ British etc markets by the colllets of the other markets !!!! I have had the 240v version ouf the router and had to buy the 1/2 collet from the UK market with very high shipping rates because my local dealer could not order the 1/2 collet from makita germany despite i got the correct part numbet. Having both collets makes live so much easier 😎😎
those sanders look pretty sweet tbh

I think I would put the battery in a waist pack for weight distribution.
Hi there any links abt ML012G ? I wanna buy one
the router and sander are IPx4 AND ip56, higher number doesn't cover the lower ones
@ToolsAndStuffOFFICIAL

IP56 on the screen is on every XGT marketing from Japan as it refers to the battery, not the tool.
Just when I was doing a random google looking for whether the 1/2” router was ever coming… watching now!

Yeah so that Milwaukee one is still a much preferred form factor (no new battery platform for me). Possibly not the intended use case, but I do use the 1/4" trim router flipped over as a table router quite a lot. Come on Makita. :)
Id love to know how the Makita router compares to the Hikoki! I just bought the biggest 1/2" 240v router they make

Time to break the bank again 😅
The sanders with the battery at the end of a long cord just don’t make sense at all…… with an extractor hose and a long cable… the cable might as well be AC.

OMG! ( haven't watched yet)
...yeah cool and all but where the f is our sandwhich press....
Considering what the tools that the Irishman fixes look like on the inside, I'm guessing these wood working tools don't have much in terms of dust protection since they are often packed full of sawdust 🤷♂️ Do you know if any other brand rates their tools as dustprotected with an IP rating?

Multi tool is coming this year according to reps!
Makita are the great tools but they need to hurry up and release the 18v framing nailer already! At this point I might just buy the milwaukee and slap on a milwaukee to makita battery adapter. Stop production and listen to the consumers.

Calm down man they said late 2024 at world of concrete.
All of those tools would be better off corded. May as well be with the sander and that corded battery, just burning out expensive batteries for no reason. If you're setting up to use a 1/2 router, you may as well take the 15 seconds to plug it in. The lights, the same, I cant think of one time I would have needed them running on batteries. Just buy some extension leads. It's rare you are on site at the 'Makita tools out stage' and don't have power, even at the foundation laying stages you will have generators and no use for little plastic tools.
Makita should have moved away from their existing router body design.
