Jessica Marie it's not all that easy for some of us to see. Depression is a matter of brain chemistry and endorphins don't flow correctly. We wake up each day unexcited and (for periods of time) almost angry at the new day for including a piece of shit like us in it's bright shining confidence. We take the pills the docs give us, but they're not (I don't wanna say "enough") always effective or a match for our brain chemistry. It gets soo hard to keep telling yourself that it's just a chemical imbalance. It gets soo hard too keep believing that you're a person like everyone else no matter who you're supposed to be or how you're supposed to be happy in your station of life. It's a fight....everyday for a lot of us. A knock down, drag out slugfest that never ends....but some of us give up and end....well I think you know now. Thanks for listening.

The most amazing human being ever!
My favorite version. God damn it's hard to watch now.
Put a candle in the window 'Cause I feel I've gotta move Though I'm goin', goin' I'll be comin' home soon Long as I can see the light Pack my bag and let's get moving 'Cause I'm bound to drift awhile Though I'm gone, gone You don't have to worry Long as I can see the light Guess I've got that old travelin' bone 'Cause this feeling won't leave alone But I won't, won't Be losin' my way Long as I can see the light Yeah Yeah Yeah Oh yeah Put a candle in the window 'Cause I feel I've gotta move Though I'm goin', goin' I'll be comin' home soon Long as I can see the light Long as I can see the light Long as I can see the light Long as I can see the light Long as I can see the light

Love and miss you Beautiful Keeper ♥️🌹♥️ forever in our hearts ♥️ prayers for Vicky and your children and family and fans and all who loved you. R.I.P. Chris you will always be The Beautiful Keeper to me Beautiful inside and out 🙏🏽🕊♥️🌹♥️
Just incredible voice! I'm a big fan of his acoustic guitar too. Something about it makes his voice just resonate inside of you.
No one sings like you anymore. True story. RIP CC
this is in the original key of B - the key the track was recorded it in. Search YOU Tube and you won't anyone else going for it - even Fogerty pulls it back a full tone to A
Thanks for sharing your experience at the show! Obviously due to recent events, I went back and listened to Chris's covers over the years. It was suggested by true fans of his work.. .. I have to say .. this is A. A good quality recording!, and B. an amazing cover by Chris!
Wow what great pipes
Greatest Rock Voice ever for me.
Forever missed
wow, I never knew he did this. Cornell has such a wonderful voice. Great job. I love this almost as much as nothing compares to you and that is saying a lot.
The voice more beautiful of alls times...
Great rendition. Thanks for the capture and post. Love it. D~
how did you know that he was going to play this right before? Of all the great CCR songs. Only Chris could have covered John Fogerty & sound amazing! RIP CC

Beautiful cover. What a talent. RIP to the best singer there will EVER be.
True heartbreak this world is not a better place now that he's gone
Chris 's Best cover !
It's a beautiful rendition...he got the pain in the hauntingly soulful raw blues of John Fogerty's voice.., and it's beautiful of him to acknowledge them as such.
well that was not easy. BRAVO CHRIS!
RIP Chris...
Brilliant version Chris!!! 💗💗💗
I wish there was a Chris Cornell Revival
I'm so sad he couldn't see the light anymore...

Just found this. This was my dad's favorite CCR song and to hear Chris sing it touches my soul. Thanks for this.
We love you Chris. Thank You for sharing your gift with us. 😔🤘🏼
i've been a fan for 20+ years, seen the bands he has been a part of and him solo live many times over, and yet his performances (his voice, as well as his range as an artist in general) never fail to impress! never boring! damn good cover!
The one and only, Chris Cornell.
I was listening to this song.. The ccr version when I got the call my grandmother died in a house fire back in 1999... To this day I can not listen to their version of it.. But chris made it possible to hear an old favorite..
He's the only one except John Fogerty who deserves to song this amazing song. I doubt anyone else is worthy this.
He's everything to me. My #1 zero
Dear god, I pray that he recorded all these amazing covers in studio at some point
Goosebumps....thank you for posting this 💜
PERFECT PERSON TO COVER THIS and do it justice!!!!!!
Tremendous.
Chris speelt een mooi nummer van CCR. In zijn weg en brul.
Love u brother
Awesome...
Put a candle in the window ❤️✨💫
Miss you forever. 💛💛
John fogerty and Cornell have similar wailing voices...fogerty is so underrated...I think he was better than plant

Totally better than McCartney too, one of the best rock vocalist of all time. Imo only maybe little Richard and maybe Jackie Wilson better .
September 2020. And you are still missed.
