I live nearby and Barking is literally a shithole full of alcoholics and drug dealers / users, and not safe at night. If you want to see London, better go central.

​@aclark903 Muslims read the bible and respect it, but we also believe it has been altered overtime and as such follow the quran as it is the only book of god that hasn't been changed meaning its the true word of God and is the last book so the most up to date guide on how to live a good, peaceful and fulfilling life.

Didn't show anything of the historic sights of barking Town centre. The Abbey ruins, the Curfew Tower, the town Quay. Even the theatre. All within just a few yards of the places you did show. Very dissapointed

Thank you for the video. I was waiting for the Barking Abbey, theatre, swimming pool and the park to appear in your short film ( they are the centre of Barking) but sadly you only concentrated on the market which is not the best of our town. Please make your next video about interesting Barking😊

I lived in Barking for 14 years (2003 - 2017) and during each and all of those years, I was a Uniformed presence on the streets of both, Barking AND Dagenham. I can tell you FOR A FACT that the multicultural diversity did NO favours for Barking. It only served to cause cultural clashes, an increase in crime, an increase in anti-social behaviour, an increase in littering and flytipping, an increase in Food Health & Safety complaints, a creation of ethnic gangs armed with knives or other weapons, forced the closure of English owned businesses like Pubs, Pie and Mash shops, Butchers, Barbers,etc and even changed the demographics of the Barking Church of England that for the first time in its own history then the Diocese installed a black pastor to appease the predominantly black congregation. As for the Market, then other than the money Market Traders paid to the Council then the Market provided no economical benefit to Barking because the Traders were from outside of Barking so their profits were spent elsewhere and contrary to the Council's predictions, then shoppers at the Market did not provide their custom to the permanent businesses as often as expected nor spent as much money at those businesses. Finally, FOR THE RECORD, before the multicultural diversification of Barking then stabbings in Barking were UNHEARD OF as were armed gangs in Barking also UNHEARD OF! Oh,and let me not forget to say that those whom yet live in Barking that I yet have contact with, personally and professionally, ALL tell me that Barking is STILL a cesspool of undesirable humanity, crime, disease, drug use and abuse and alcohol use and abuse.
