It gets you little in the rest of the country too when you consider it's takeaways you're after. 6.50 for those chicken things is almost 20% cheaper than a Nandos burger.

He actually got a lot for £20. My fav restaurant at China town charges more for a bento box 😆 but they’re amazing, service is great and food delicious so it’s worth it

Good luck with getting into these places, the queues are massive. My friend lives the custard fish, she has to have them every time we're in the West End.

Go to China town every time I'm in London. Always get a red bean bun, cannot be beaten

Lived in London all my 60 years and know every bit of it and eating when your out and about costs silly money now days. I used to know lots of cheap eats and they have all gone. Look at pie and mash, costs stupid money. And chinatown is a rip off, be careful.

actually some value stuff, that alley way noodle is fantastic for their cheung fun.

I've lived in London all my life I've never been Chinatown Things are about to change

One time I went to the bakery there on my birthday and the filling inside the fish pastry went all over my top then I went to a fancy restaurant and it was so awkward.

London is a world centre for food; you can get anything. A lot of Americans tend to be very culturally conservative though and some never stray far from the Golden Arches when abroad.

Maybe because portions in London are 50-70% smaller than in an average American place. I always forget that when I travel and I order so much that I have the next day breakfast, lunch and dinner from leftovers 🙈
