I really mean it when I say this but your vlogs always leave me with a feeling of awe and inspiration. Just the way you take the time to capture the beauty in both the simple and intricate things, how you probably saved money to be able to enjoy finer & delicious food, and the way your vlogs reflect quality over quantity. It really inspires me to wonder that maybe this is the way I want to live.

The Pelican is a good option for a pub lunch, but there are many other good ones too. The rest, I’m not sure why you would go to these places if you want to try good food in London.

different people have different preferences! i’ve lived there 4 years so i didn’t want to just go for traditional pub lunch/british food :)

@@absentabroad, You made a video about “places to eat” though so I thought the idea was that they were supposed to be like recommendations. My point is that these are not places to recommend in general and only The Pelican is known to have good pub food amongst the places you went.

@@absentabroad, I’ve lived all over the world, have traveled to many country, and I consider London to be the greatest food city on the planet. Of course, British cuisine is not nearly as famous as many other cuisines, but London has, in my opinion the best representation of international cuisines anywhere in the world. Of course, you can never beat the cuisine of a country in its origin, but from top to bottom you can find at least good to very good restaurant serving any cuisine you could possibly want on a regular basis. I love going to pubs so I have probably 10-15 that I’d recommend depending on what you want. I’m not a big breakfast person outside of Asia, but I have two or three places in London that I like. In addition to international cuisines, there are many elevated British restaurants that I could recommend. There are also a plethora of great cafes throughout the city. On top of that, London is the greatest city in the world for cocktail bars and I have 15-20 that I could recommend depending on what you want. All that’s to say, if I know what you want, I can give you recommendations, but it’s hard for me to say this is the best restaurant or that is the best pub because there are so many good ones.
