London Family Adventure (Ep 2), Remembering Queen Elizabeth II

Join us on our first few days exploring London with kids. We went on an adventure with our three kids, on a month-long trip to the UK. createplaytravel.com/ We packed a carry-on suitcase per person, brought the kids homeschool workbooks, and flew into Heathrow Airport in London.
Queen Elizabeth II passed away just a few days before our trip, so our experience in London was quite out of the ordinary. We had the chance to witness local memorial events and walk through Green Park, which was filled with bouquets of flowers for the Queen.
One of my favorite parts of exploring London has been seeing the amazing architecture and sculpted stone details on many of the historic buildings.
On this trip, we stayed in London for 4 days total. We did a bit of shopping, stopped by the National Gallery art museum and the British Museum, and explored the city. We also saw the outside of Westminster Abbey, Palace of Westminster, Big Ben, and Buckingham Palace.

Such a lovely video, thank you for respecting our country when we lost our beloved Queen. I was watching the news as everyone else was in the UK when we heard how ill the Queen was then the screen blanked out for a couple of mins then the news came on again to announce the death of our Queen. Glad you and your lovely family had a lovely time in London.

I enjoyed watching this video of all of you exploring my home town, thank you. I was quite amused by the American evangelist waving his cross outside one of the major British Christian Abbeys, you’ve got admire his ambition, even if he was largely being ignored.

How on earth did you get to stand in front of the Rosetta Stone with nobody else there! There’s normally a mass of people crowded around it!

Nice video. It would have been extremely helpful if you would have showcased your hotel accommodations. Like your family, we are a family of 5 and I have found it hard to find a nice and affordable place that can accommodate our family in June of 2024 without breaking the bank or having to stay in a less than desirable place.

Your family is a part of history being there, can I ask? Have you sold any of the footage in this to any media outlet?
