Thanks for posting this interesting video. When I drove the 139 it went from West End Green to Trafalgar Square. Sad to see the long gone Finchley Garage.

It did then but Chalk Farm Garage had already closed and the allocation had transferred to Holloway. So for crew changes, and running in turns, it ran through to Golders Green and then off through Highgate to Archway.....

Awesome upload, this was my local bus garage. Remember the final year vividly, such a shame it went. Great you've got it on record, cheers!

I have seen these buses when my Nan used to take me into Central London on the bus for the day and I really liked it.

@@SoiBuakhaoRoutemasterbusit had changed from the 80s with LT years wiped out by then. Don't blame you, while BR was still unaffected by then. You ramped it up in the late 90s, probably realising the Ms and Ts were on their way out any time soon.
