Construction site catches fire on Great Portland Street London next to the BBC.
The emergency services attended the scene very quickly and secured the area and put the fire out.

London has some great architecture and it looks like pretty good water pressure also.Nice video.

It's astonishing how such a large fire in a capital city can occur before the fire service arrive ( this is not a criticism of the amazing London fire service)

It depends what caught fire it's looks like building work going on what chemicals could be there some fire take quickly and how long it took for some one to spot the fire never looked ikea many people there

They are ideal for the narrow streets and busy traffic. Anything too big would never get through.

Blue lights are far more distinctive than the red generally used in the USA, newer vehicles over the last 10 years are using a high intensity light system as well, as for the size as pointed out already a USA sized truck would never get through traffic, bigger is not always better.
