What subjects do you think LomoChrome Turquoise would be the best for? COMMENT BELOW⬇️

I've got a friend of mine that does cosplay shoots and I just got hold of Loma Chrome turquoise. We're going to be going for a 1950s classic alien look to it and I thought this was the perfect film stock! I may have gotten her hooked on film 🤣

Prost! wow these are really interesting results that you get with lomo turqu...turkq....teal & orange :D Anyway better than lomo purple. The pictures of the porsches is also turned out really good.

I dearly miss Kodak Color Infrared slide (e-6) film. Kodak did not know how to.market that film. This reminds me of that film

Cool photos! Love the Old Town photo the best. I’ve been experimenting with this film too, I agree that 400 ISO is best. I think I still prefer lomochrome purple to this though, but still very cool

Lomo Turquoise looks like what I imagine acid to look like on Jupiter. Weird and illegal, but also very cool 🤣 Got some lovely shots as always man! But I must say my favourites were the bonus shots you got of those Porsches @8:46 🔥 too clean!

Thanks for watching Bro! It’s such a trippy film! And yes those were my favorites too! I was happy with how they turned out! I had to get that footage and those photos in the video somehow!

Great pictures and video as always. I never pop the top of f my 35mm canisters. I either leave the leader out when rewinding or use a leader retriever., I trim the end square in day light, then I start the film in the spool just past the ball bearings that catch the film. I then put it in my dark bag wind the film onto the spool and use scissors to cut the film at the end. That way its an easy start and no faffing. works for me.

I’ve never done it like that but I have heard lots of people do it that way! Do you ever notice scratches from pulling it back out of the canister? That’s what always worries me

@@ReimannPembroke No I have not noticed any and If it was going to scratch it would have done it the first time out when you shoot the film I guess. I have even left a short piece of film in place when cutting it and reused the cassette for bulk loading my own film by taping the film together to the stub sticking out.

I love the results I just wish they could be repeatable if cross processed in E-6 because I really love cross processing but I guess I’ll have to stick with C 41 for now I guess

I would be really curious to see how it looks when cross processed!

Now I need to get some, very unique colors for sure especially the way it renders reds. I absolutely despise red brick, this would be perfect for shooting old buildings.

I agree! It would take a lot of work in lightroom or photoshop to get similar results!

On a camera like the Canon P which doesn't have metering, did you determine the exposure for 100,200 and 400 by the Sunny 16 rule?

No I use a light meter app called light mate! I made a full video about that app if you’re interested!

Hey thanks for watching! I was rating the film at different ISOs. So I would put in 400 in the light meter, use those settings, change the iso in the light meter to 200, use those settings, and so on

@@ReimannPembroke That is a great technique. Do you use this technique for every roll of film? Start with selecting the ISO in lightmate to continue from there?

@@Endr29 yeah that’s usually my process! When you hear people talk about rating their film at box speed, that means they are selecting the box ISO in their light meter whether that’s the one on their camera or a handheld meter!

ISO 400 is the best :)

It’s a very cool film for sure!

Noting that Lomography does not make anything, it would be interesting to know where and under what circumstances they acquire this trash. At $12.90 a roll, you have to be pretty hard up for a photo idea to shoot this stuff or its other color-biased alternatives.
