Naturally very interesting and informative! Having visited Lo Manthang twice - 2001, 2003 - and presented seminars on my experiences during the visits, I have fond memories of the place and people there. Now I am preparing to conduct an intensive study relating to sustainable development of that area. A couple of years ago, I had pleasure and privilege of serving as Team Leader (Human Settlement Development Planner) to prepare an Integrated Settlement Plan for Gharpjhong Rural Municipality. These areas are some of the most important facets that make us proud and gratified to be Nepalese and to be able to cordially entertain beloved visitors from many parts of our common planet Earth.

One of the most beautiful places on earth. Majestic mountains and dramatic landscapes, rich culture and history woven into surrounding areas untouched by unregulated growth and pollution. It should be preserved for posterity but at the same time development should reach the region to make life easy for the community in terms of trade, investment and economic growth without destroying the age old social fabric and destroying the history and culture of the people from the onslaught of out influences. God bless Mustang!
